  1. He'll be getting a stony silence from me during his lap of honour next week.
  2. In his defence he's had no-one to centre / cross the ball to.
  3. We need a dislike button. What utter, utter nonsense from a bloke that couldn't even be bothered to attend the match.
  4. I think by all accounts he's been shit for the U21s - and Aberdeen clearly didn't think much of him either. It looks like we bought a dud there.
  5. And Brittain - he shut down Benson when he came on. He's just been unfortunate that a lot of our creative play has come through JRC at RB (and with injuries).
  6. They've spent £40m this season and they've got a massive rebuild job on their hands in the PL or they'll be straight back down with thrashings handed out every week.
  7. I think he's managed him wisely. He's only 18 - yes he's a superb talent, but he needs to be nurtured (and evidently his attitude has needed to be corrected). He'll be a better player for this - I just hope it's with us.
  8. Ah, they COULD have gone up another gear, but didn't at any point in the 90 minutes.
  9. Leonard was on the pitch for 10 minutes - you're wasted on here if you can judge a player based off that.
  10. Men against boys?! We played them off the park. Pickering foolishly fell for the only dummy Benson has and he curled their one shot of the game into the corner of the net. There's nothing valuable about Dack and Ayala at this point - they're both ready for the knackers yard. Brereton-Diaz has been tripe for 6 months too. We say the Championship is poor every year - which it is, bar the top 2 or 3 teams.
  11. If JDT is as ruthless as I think he is (and is still here!) I suspect he'll be looking to move Travis on in the summer. He's a good Championship player, but he's not technical enough to play in a 2 man midfield.
  12. I'd love some genuine pace in the front 4 too. Burnley played on the half way line because they had zero fear of Dolan / Brereton-Diaz / Hedges running in behind them.
  13. Wharton was comfortably the best player on the pitch - the only way they could get near him was when they fouled him. Which they did, repeatedly.
  14. Massively agree to disagree. The horror performances have disappeared. A competent striker would be well into double figures since January. Instead Brereton-Diaz has been on the fucking beach and we already know that Dolan / Hedges / Gallagher are never going to contribute enough goals to fire you up the table.
  15. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes I'm afraid. I have no sympathy for him.
  16. It's 4-2-3-1 I reckon, but the point still stands. Brereton-Diaz is on the beach and Dolan isn't a #9.
  17. As they should be. We don't have a recognised striker in the squad - and some would argue you could complain to Trading Standards if you listed Gallagher as one. The end of the season has been ruined by the World Cup - 8 games in a month for a squad as small as ours is just brutal. We're going to lose tonight and Burnley are going to 'win' the title at Ewood. Sadly as Rovers fans we're being punished for a crime we didn't commit - with no sign of it ending either.
  18. At the time he was one of the few players that could receive the ball in a tight space / with a man on his back and not lose it.
  19. I must be the only Rovers fan that can't wait for this season to end. We've limped to the finish line because we didn't bring in a striker in January - I just want the misery to end at this point and for the rebuild to begin. It's physically painful watching us play without a striker.
