  1. They have - but most of them are absolutely forgettable.
  2. Honestly I think the owners will just completely blank us and the whole thing will peter out - only they'll have lost a couple more thousand off the gates.
  3. Conway is dogshit but he always scores against us.
  4. Gestede, about 15 minutes into his second match in charge.
  5. They can, but we haven't played with wide forwards under Gestede (albeit I'm not sure what we've played - the players look lost). I gather he likes to big CFs and a man behind as a #10 - but I could be wrong.
  6. Why do we need a RB and a RW if we're playing 3-4-3 / 3-5-2 (or whatever variant of 3 at the back the manager likes)? We need a CB and two athletic WBs if we're switching systems. A RW is pointless now.
  7. Dom's contractually obliged. I am not.
  8. Which is why the plan to develop youth and sell them on can't work under the current structure. You're left with the Travis / JRC / S. Wharton / Buckley level players. Decent Championship players, once they've developed (usually at 22+) but not worth a whole lot of money. Any one with PL talent is snaffled up for a minimal fee before they can play for you. It's absurd.
  9. That's two of our players O'Rourke has tried to sell this month.
  10. I don't know who Rober is, but isn't MrBeast a baddun?
  11. I'm obviously incredibly biased, but we're a Premier League club - similar to how Sunderland and Leeds should be Premier League clubs too.
  12. If Tyjon is playing in the Championship at 17 and holding his own he won't be playing for us when he's 18. Of course the aim might just be for him to play at 17 so they don't have to fork out for an experienced CF for the bench...
  13. Which is terrifying as clearly very few of them are up to standard and / or ready judging by their loans.
  14. There's no way they're getting their money back.
  15. 1. What's the desired end game. New owners. 2. What's the compromise position. In the past I would have said new CEO / DoF / Manager / Whatever Suhail's role is - but we've done that once and it hasn't worked. It's also clear from the interviews conducted yesterday that the owners want us to be self sufficient, which clearly isn't attainable - so there is no compromise. New owners. 3. What's your general thoughts on our approach to date. Excellent result in dragging Waggott / Suhail / Gestede out into the limelight and exposing them as charlatans. They're clearly very rattled and scored an own goal with those interviews. From my perspective as a fan, and listening to the Twitter Space yesterday, fans clearly want direction and organisation. I'm not sure 'Express yourself' is going to land how you want it to on Friday. 4. What's your thoughts on the Exec interviews yesterday. See above. An absolute car crash. 5. Do you want to get more involved. Potentially, but I don't have much free time to volunteer.
  16. Taylor Swift. Think of all the season ticket sales to the Swifties.
  17. This is quite sensible. I guess I'd pick from (they're unfit owners because): Took over a stable mid-table PL club - relegated them to L1. Never finished in the Championship playoffs in 15 years. Haven't visited Ewood in 13 years (and counting). Indeed haven't even spoken to the last 3 managers (2 of whom walked) Second lowest net transfer spend in the Championship in the past decade, w/ no money invested since Nov 23. Waggott (reviled by all previous clubs), Suhail and Gestede (grossly underqualified) are a symptom of the problem - the owners.
  18. I thought he came across really well. For whatever reason they tried to ambush him (no idea what their agenda is, but they put forward schoolboy level arguments and simply spoke over him when it suited) and he deftly handled it. Cutting him off at the end without warning was pathetic.
  19. Yeah he's a massive twat. As you say, absolutely no wonder he lost all his money.
  20. I assume he's still coming for the Venkys?
  21. He has agency - and by all accounts they're incredibly hands off owners. He's allowed to say "You gave me a target of 'x' for this financial year. I've met that - now I'm going to spend 'y' on new players to build for the future." He hasn't done that because he's lazily earmarked 'y' (i.e. the next Wharton instalment fee) to the next financial target he has to hit - because he's absolutely on cruise control heading into retirement. We all know the sort.
  22. I'm curious to see what the 'stage 2' of the protest is. 'Express yourself' is incredibly vague. Are they asking people to stay away? Go in numbers and protest? If they're not careful you'll just have the usual crowd with a small number in the Blackburn End chanting anti-Waggott / Venky songs.
