  1. A back 5 that are yet to keep a clean sheet?
  2. He's such a wonderful man manager.
  3. If teams can deal with Burnley's pace out wide they'll stifle their attack.
  4. I watched the highlights, I don't think that's true for the Bristol Rovers game - think it's just a fan who has taken an instant dislike to a loan player and blames him for all their ills.
  5. How many goals have we conceded already this season?
  6. How many more would you like, Eddie? Bellingham, Kane, Gallagher, Sancho, Tomori, Toney (LOL) have all played abroad - I'm sure there's more that have had loans abroad too. The rest generally play at the top 3 or 4 teams in the strongest league in the world.
  7. I mean they're correct - sending off the CF your CBs couldn't handle is always beneficial to the team going down to 10 men...
  8. I think this team is right unless the Brighton kid absolutely rinses everyone in training for the next two weeks.
  9. If you've paid £1m for a GK and he's not immediately in the starting line up over Pears then you've wasted £1m.
  10. It went wrong with Wahlstedt because he never learned to deal with crosses and his defenders lost confidence in him. For all the plaudits people are handing out to Pears about his MOTM performance against Leeds - he was doing the exact same thing as Wahstedt was doing - palming saves out into the danger area, our defenders just reacted quicker. Leo's confidence was clearly absolutely shot at the end and he needed taking out of the firing line - his new manager will have some job on building him back up.
  11. A good GK saves their goal - it was right down the middle of the goal, he actually dives out of the way of it. He was lucky that Foster missed a later header too - he'd come for the ball, got stranded in no-man's land as he was never getting there through a crowd of bodies - and Foster looped it wide with an open goal gaping. He has to be dropped, he's not a League standard GK. It's clear to almost everyone.
  12. It wasn't, the Burnley player rolling around like he'd stepped on a landmine made the referee's mind up for him.
  13. Experience aside, Weimann is clearly just a fantastic player at this level. Very tidy on the ball, composed and makes the right runs at the right time.
  14. Nah, he's an English manager that wears a tracksuit on the touchline and talks in a Brummie accent - he'd have to take Rovers up to ever sniff the PL.
  15. My condolences.
  16. Play on or a red card for the last man taking out the attacker - I'll let you pick your poison.
  17. He didn't book Laurent (#29) who cleaned out Beck either (he waved play on and it led to the Brittain chance that he sliced wide). Absolutely disgraceful performance from the referee.
  18. He wasn't played in his preferred position, but his application post Christmas was diabolical.
  19. Teams don't usually terminate the contracts of good players for no reason.
  20. "I think we would have won 11 v 11, they shut up shop down to 10 men". Ah yes, that old chestnut.
  21. He has to get hauled over the coals by his assessor for that performance, right?
  22. Lovely to see Oxford and Derby winning - we might be half decent this year y'know.
  23. I'm ok with the rule as long as the other rules are abided by - y'know like offside and dissent...
  24. Oh god, yeah, another mythical point from a losing position. I'd forgotten those were a thing.
