  1. Same word as people in Glasgow, that he's a twat.
  2. Markanday was a Mowbray signing, we washed our face with Ennis and you're quick to write off O'Riordan.
  3. "Prove it" - essentially. He has competition for places now.
  4. Only parachute payment clubs in the Championship could spend £10m on a player. Birmingham have pushed all of their chips into the middle of the table with this signing - I assume it massively hamstrings financially them if they do get promoted.
  5. I hope to god you mean Tugay and not Ferguson.
  6. Must be nice to spunk £2m on two useless strikers and just go "fuck it, we'll go again". Everton were asking for a £1m loan fee before they eventually sold him to Leicester. God knows what Leicester have asked for him in this loan move.
  7. At that price you have to take a chance - he's by far the most talented player at the club now. It's just whether he's really a massive dickhead or whether he's going to buckle down and prove everyone wrong. We've done it before with Santa Cruz, Bellamy and Bentley. Hopefully we can do it again.
  8. Unless it's Tronstad or Gueye I don't think I'm too worried.
  9. A player of your choosing has to dribble a ball past a Championship FB. Which 1 of those 6 players would you bet your life on?
  10. That would just require a simple conversation to say "have you watched any of them play? Your lad gets in ahead of them out wide".
  11. We only have one winger on the books and he's a loan.
  12. "No outgoings are anticipated at Ewood Park and, in truth, Rovers are still very well stocked without Godo. They have seven options for three players in-behind their striker, with Cozier-Dubbery and Cantwell adding to Joe Rankin-Costello, Ryan Hedges, Tyrhys Dolan, Arnor Sigurdsson and Andi Weimann. Zak Gilsenan is also an option though he remains injured." Well stocked for what, Elliot? Certainly not in wingers.
  13. Do tell. I know there's a few people that support Celtic / Rangers (but weirdly not St Mirren) on here.
  14. On a free? I wonder what wages he's on because otherwise he fits the bill for what we're after.
  15. I hope he's like Savage - our knobhead.
  16. It does, but the alternative is a Non-League GK in net.
  17. Because we're desperate for proven quality there.
  18. Cantwell is the Szmodics successor - they'll play him in the #10 role.
  19. Sensational is a bit much. He's clearly very highly rated, but he's never played Senior football. I'm sure there was a long queue to loan him and we've done very well to get to the head of said queue, but we're playing PL2 Tombola (love whoever came up with that) - he could be amazing, or he could be kicked into the stands by a Championship clogger every week. We'll just have to wait and see.
  20. That's the big problem, isn't it? Really happy with Gueye, Ohashi and Cantwell (if it happens) as permanent signings - that completely changes the look of the attack and all have resale value, but we're back in the same position in 12 months time if we don't miraculously get promoted with the loans of this Brighton lad, potentially this Fulham lad, Beck etc. At least we signed a permanent GK (although personally that's the position I'd have gambled on and gone all out for a big time loan like Carl Rushworth), let's just hope he's any good.
  21. Missed the boat on that one I'm afraid. They might get a boost to the half-season ticket sales if the team comes together and starts performing leading up to Christmas.
