  1. It won't be Wednesday as Sheff Utd are at home boxing day, Newcastle are at home too so probably rules out Sunderland. Boro, or a yorkshire trip to Hudds or Rotherham is my guess.
  2. New Years day on is always a strange one, seems you can end up anywhere. Remember us playing down at Norwich and Spurs in the past on that date. Boxing Day they do tend to keep it local "ish" though.
  3. More likely to be up in the North East or over in Yorkshire on Boxing Day I reckon.
  4. Was usually 1864Roverite back in the day from memory something about being in the know with the police, and they were never correct.
  5. Don't get me wrong I have been frustrated at times. But to keep that squad in the mix until the last day of the season, after being badly let down in January for me was a really good job by JDT. Far better than anything his predecessor achieved. We have to kick on again this season though, and you are correct that for some reason the Ewood crowd will be less tolerant of him than they were of Mowbray if we were to start badly.
  6. On course for around 8.5k ST holders for the opening day at those figures. Poor.
  7. We finish on the weekend of 4th May, with the play offs happening 9th-13th May, with the final on the 26th May. So going off there fixtures we should be away last.
  8. A quick look suggests there was actually one in December 2015 too against Rotherham but it wasn't televised, it was moved because our game the following Tuesday against Forest got bought forward to the Monday night for TV coverage so a knock on effect. Also a couple against Brentford and Preston in the covid season but they don't count as far as I am concerned. It is very odd though, even away, last seasons against Stoke was the first one I can remember since Wolves away being on a Friday night back in January 2013.
  9. This is where they break the trend. 9 years is it since the last one? (In front of fans anyway)
  10. Leicester at Ewood opening day which will be moved to the Friday night, then sky can crow about two premier league winners in the second tier for the entire build up/game.
  11. Looks like - Opening Day - Home Boxing Day - Away Good Friday - Home Easter Monday - Away Last Day - Away
  12. Who are all those directors?
  13. The fixtures for next season will be released before they bother with anything for the abroad pre season trip.
  14. People have this weird feeling that every fan should be as fanatical and committed as they are. It's just not the case in the real world.
  15. Genuinely amazed (I probably shouldn't be) that there are fans of this club arguing on here that think the ST prices are fine and value for money.
  16. Why would he give this gig up?
  17. He will be on this gravy train for years, I have no doubt about that.
  18. Turns out Girona is the Ewood game, not Bologna. Also confirmation of the Stockport game. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/june/06/la-liga-opponents-to-visit-ewood-/
  19. Have some standards man. It's £4 for a little box of fries that are no better than the frozen section at Aldi.
  20. I bet the map isn't even updated yet with it being a bank holiday weekend.
  21. They have no spare shirts.
  22. Swansea at Ewood last season was 89th minute. Before that, we did it twice in the "Covid era". 90+1 against Milwall at Ewood and 90+8 against Rotherham at Ewood to win both games 2-1. Last time we won a game in injury time with fans present - 02.11.2019 against Sheffield Wednesday, a 90+1 minute winner to win 2-1.
  23. The window isn't officially open, but it doesn't mean you can't sign players.
  24. Yeah as MB said it was on the initial launch, and Rich Sharpe said in an article that he had it confirmed there would be a second rise too. Hopefully someone has seen sense somewhere and realised that since sales have pretty much stopped since the first rise that a second rise probably isn't a good idea.
  25. Even if he was backed in January and we had finished in the play offs this season, he isn't turning down Feyenoord to stay here.
