Still promoting them via social media this morning. I also received an email this morning telling me that because I bought the ifollow match pass for the Wycombe game that they would knock that off my season ticket.

Love all these old clips showing up. Chris Sulley & Scott Sellars down that left flank attacking the Blackburn End is one of my earliest memorys of Ewood whilst sitting in the old nuttall street stand. -
You would think the only way we will get a respectable number sold next season would be either a huge reduction in price (never going to happen) or to somehow sneak a promotion to breath some life back into the club and get people interested again.
-
I'd imagine most of those fans who bought season tickets at other clubs, did so knowing full well that there was a possibility of most of the games being behind closed doors.
-
Agree it will be different for everyone at the end of the day. I think its a fair assumption that Waggott would do that, where has he shown any kind of business savvy here so far in regards to ticketing and increasing the fanbase? It's just rise after rise, with a stand shut here and there, with little emphasise on loyalty or getting more fans in, and more on what he can squeeze out the current hardcore. Do you think an £80 rise for a Riverside ST, in the middle of a pandemic, on the verge of the biggest recession in decades, in a town like Blackburn was particularly business savvy?
-
If I buy a season ticket and steam the rest of the games, it costs me £559 in cash. There is no way around that, cash that has left my bank account. I might get that back in "club credit" next season, but who knows what will have happened or will happen by the time next summer rolls around? The price will rise next season again to offset some of the refunds, Waggott isn't bothered about business suicide here, if he was I doubt the Riverside tickets would have gone up by £80 this season.
-
Haha, a typo honest.
-
If it was Chris Sully, I would be interested.
-
If you stream every game this season it would cost £460. If you buy a season ticket and steam the rest of the games, it will cost £559 Forget about refunds, Waggott said the same to the FF back in June about a rebate from last seasons missed games to go on this years price. Even if the refunds do happen, you can bet there will be a price rise next season to offset them.

I'd be bringing Nyambe back in, but for the rest I agree,

vs Southampton in April 2005, MGP Scored from it too. -
I love how its so flippant like its that easy. Could name you plenty of players that we have sold over the years for big money, not once have we been a better side the year after.

How long do we leave it? Knowing Mowbray it will be Christmas until he's ready. Get him in the bloody side. -
I've said a few times, whilst Ayala and a Manning or Douglas would make us a better side on paper, we'll always concede goals under Mowbray. I just don't think he has it in him to set up a side to go away from home and grind out a 1-0 win on a grim Tuesday night somewhere.
-
Who did we keep the clean sheet against? I genuinely don't remember any since that dour game against Stoke back in February.
-
Yeah that's fair. I'm sure JRC has that in his locker though. If Johnson was fit I'd probably play him over Brereton and move JRC further forward.
-
Knowing how long Mowbray takes to get players "ready" I imagine his debut will be after the next international break.
-
I'd be starting Dolan on Saturday now. Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Williams Bell JRC Holtby Rothwell Dolan Armstrong Brereton

Yet he managed to take part in both of Northern Irelands recent internationals, starting one and coming on as a sub in the other ? I've said from the very beginning, Evans has been having a good laugh at this club for the past seven years, I really hope Stoke come in for him before the deadline or I fear he will be here until the end of time. -
No I don't think so, think that's the whole point of this ifollow thing. Sky have just kept there usual TV slots which I think is Friday night Saturday lunchtime, and selected Sunday lunchtime, Monday nights and midweek games.
-
Could it be that those Saturday 3pm games on there have been selected for international TV broadcast?
-
Is it? I can only see Wycombe vs Swansea & Huddersfield vs Nottingham Forest in the live tv slots for sky.

I understand the code of conduct has to be in place obviously. For me though, I'm not that desperate to go back under these conditions. It's a 100 mile round trip for me, one that I have been doing since the late 80's. A huge part of the day is mingling with mates I don't see in everyday life, sometimes opposition fans, having a couple of beers in the nearby pubs or going to the strikers lounge with my lad (which is closed for the foreseeable). Get in the ground, have a bit of a sing song and have a good celebrate when we score or win. Travelling 50 miles to be told when I have to enter the ground, when I have to leave, not be able to sit with mates, not to chant or sing, or celebrate when we score is just not for me. I get for you that you are local, and its probably just about going and watching the football and then going home, for me I might as well just pay the £10 on ifollow and save myself a few hours travel where I can be doing other things. The matchday experience will be exactly the same. On top of all that, my seat in the Riverside has gone up by £80 from last season.
