  1. https://www.westlondonsport.com/brentford/brentford-in-talks-to-sign-blackburn-rovers-man Maybe why Big Jase has had his extension activated? Or more likely just a load of nonesense.
  2. We wont sign either of those. Ive always thought that forward Marquiz at Doncaster would be worth a look, plays up on his own and scores a load of goals for them I'd be looking at him over Whiteman, he just strikes me as a younger Evans.
  3. I prefer it when we just copy whatever song Man Utd fans are singing at the time.
  4. I have been saying since Samuel went down with that big injury that he will be given a chance to prove himself next season, I didn't even think of Gladwin to be honest but I guess he falls into the same category. Why we are giving Leutwiler an extension I don't know, a really poor keeper. Rodwell yes I would like to keep if it's to play in CM, Conway really isn't needed here anymore. And people are still expecting a glut of "first 11 ready" players to come in before August 8th, no chance i'm afraid.
  5. Yeah have to agree with the above. For instance I don't think we'll look at full backs this summer, I think TM will persevere with Nyambe/Bennett for RB and Bell with Williams as cover for LB. Pretty obvious that we'll be looking for a CH, and I think we'll be looking to get a CM in too as it seems that Smallwood has finally dropped quite far down the pecking order. Seems like a GK will be coming in too, I imagine this will be a free transfer and "experienced". I'm not convinced that TM will be bringing in a CF to go straight into the team either, I think Graham will still feature a lot next season, and with Brereton, Armstrong and also Samuel coming back into the fold I think we might go until January with what we have. TM loves a number 10/Wide Striker too so I could see him maybe bringing in another one of those, because.
  6. There is no way Bennett won't be in the team somewhere. Probably at right back or right midfield is my guess.
  7. I'm not annoyed by the situation, I know exactly how it is these days. It's the fact that we see them same garbage like the two points I mentioned every summer no matter who is in charge, knowing full well it won't happen.
  8. I don't like them colours.
  9. And we go along with it every time. One, we will not do our business early, and we never will under Venkys. Two, there is no way we will sign 4/5 players that will come straight into the first 11 on the first day of next season.
  10. Saw this doing the rounds, seems more likely than Rovers picking a number out of thin air to me.
  11. He shouldn't be, but he probably will. I think TM will give him a chance to prove himself.
  12. Plus, TM says a lot of things. I'd personally be amazed if we signed experienced players who will go straight into the first team in those four positions, it's just not going to happen.
  13. Get him in as goalkeeper coach ?
  14. Yeah I always think it looks "wrong" when we wear those shorts with the blue and white shirt, get blue shorts back for goodness sake.
  15. Yeah I noticed that, such generic interviews that mean absolutely nothing.
  16. Turning into the new Maddison this lad ? Is he flying out to India with him?!
  17. Weddings during the season, never heard anything like it. I was given several dates by the misses and strategically arranged mine during the September International break in 2012. One of my best mates who is a Port Vale fan was fuming, they won 6-2 that day ?
  18. Yeah totally agree with this. I miss the days when an away kit was an away kit, and not just a "change" kit for the sake of it. No reason why we shouldn't wear blue and white at all those places.
  19. Yeah, no chance that will happen. I expect Mulgrew to be here next season to be honest, Smallwood I think will go.
  20. I'll personally be amazed if anyone is signed before the players come back for pre season.
  21. Rich Sharpe just tweeted that Fielding has been released by Bristol City, says he would fit the bill for what Mowbray is looking for. One to watch?
  22. And as an international too. Look, I don't think Williams is very good by any means, but he has played pretty well recently since going to CB, and I think he would be acceptable there next season as 3rd/4th choice, just keep him away from left back, but to say there are better players in the north west counties than him is a bit ridiculous.
  23. Based on what? I see this as the typical lazy solution "because he used to play for us" I very much doubt he will come back here.
  24. He grew into the game for me. Looked a little slow, sluggish in the first half. Probably wasnt expecting to come on so early. Second half i thought he was excellent, if allowed games together him and Travis could develop into a real partnership.
