  1. High chance of being correct by just looking at the weather, but it wouldn't be taking his word for it. He said the game against ipswich was off 3 or 4 times before the game, only for it to be played and then abandoned. Nobody starts work until 10am so I bet they won't even bother to look until at least 11am.
  2. Easiest one possible to do, but at least its one done. Think he will be decent in league one. Let's see if they get anyone over the line that isn't a Rovers fan.
  3. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/october/03/save-over--150-with-a-new-flexi-season-ticket-/ Flexi season ticket announced. Pay £150 upfront, and then £10 per game that you want to attend. I'm sure these will fly off the shelves.
  4. Unless Eustace Johnson & Lowe are in charge.
  5. It will be high tonight. Non stop rain forecast from 1pm to around 10pm according to the Met Office. Then a light rain from 1am turning heavy again at 8am through until 12pm. This will be a game where Stoke will be winning, the pitch will start to become unplayable but they will see it through. Can see it happening a mile away.
  6. The classic comment of somebody who just doesn't get it.
  7. Damage will be done by Friday's rain. Think back to the Portsmouth game last season.
  8. Don't think you will be seeing any interviews with Rudy for a while now.
  9. Well I think that's all it's meant to be. A Rovers legends side against a side that played a part in our very early history, the game doesn't bother me so much. Just think playing it after a game like the Derby game which could be a huge humilation with all our ex staff and players taking the piss out of us is a daft decision.
  10. If Lambert had been left to his own devices for 5 and a half years like Mowbray, I imagine we would have ended up in similar positions. For me Lambert can't be compared to Coyle at all.
  11. Like anyone is going to be sticking around for that after Trav, Weimann, Batth, Eustace and co have just inflicted the ultimate humiliation on us. Better idea would be to do it the following Saturday on the international break wouldn't it?
  12. It won't do. We'll be 2-0 down on Saturday, the pitch will be getting to a similar state as it was against Ipswich but the ref will let the game finish. Can see it a mile off, being a 1230 game will probably help.
  13. Another lazy trope to throw out there to hide the fact our strikers aren't good enough. Look at the side a couple of years ago, nearly as bad as this one but we had a genuine finisher up front who could score goals. We don't score goals because our forward players aren't very good.
  14. Doesn't make much difference, but he has two assists rather than one. One against Plymouth at Ewood for Dolan last season, and one against Hull for Hedges this season. A rubbish footballer who's main asset is meant to be his pace. He has looked slower than me this season.
  15. Easiest 3 points Stoke will get all season. Rovers 0 Stoke 3
  16. Taveres is so, so poor. We're in huge trouble if we're planning on him being the one they want to develop and sell on a profit.
  17. Most obvious result of the weekend. Baffles me why folk think any different, after last week's farce this was the only outcome that was ever going to happen We're a team and club of losers that has the very occasional good result and odd result of form.
  18. You would think keeping Hedges on the left where he has done OK this season and bringing in Ohashi for Cantwell with Gudjohnsen leading the line would be the way to go. No way does that side get anything today.
  19. No Cantwell. 13th consecutive away defeat to promoted sides incoming.
  20. It's over, whether Rovers like it or not.
  21. Yeah I remember that one, it was around December 93/January 94. It was postponed just before kick off. The game Simon Jordon is on about was apparently in 1997 with us already 2-0 up, no idea where he has plucked that one from.
  22. What's that Rovers vs Wimbledon game he's on about that was abandoned in 1997 with us 2-0 up? I don't believe that ever happened?
