Another way you could look at is in JDT's first summer we had only signed Callum Brittain by the time the first game come around. We also had Nyambe, Lenihan, Rothwell, Van Hecke, Khadra who all played significant parts the season before leave in the summer, along with other squad men like Johnson, Poveda, Davenport, Chapman and Butterworth. We went on to win our first 3 and 4 out of 7 before the window closed. Maybe our core squad was stronger in that summer than it is now, I don't know. For me we can put out a competent 11 that will be fairly competitive at the minute (that's with Szmod granted) but we absolutely need 6 or 7 good players through the door before the window closes with nobody leaving just to be somewhere between 12th/20th next season.

No, the process is to just buy one and then ring the club and fill in a seat transfer form to try and get a better seat, you just need to tell them roughly where you want to be. I do agree though that a few days window where folk could log onto the site and have there pick of them at the cheaper price would be much better.
