  1. Ryan Nyambe will be at Ewood Park for the opening game of the season. Signed for Derby.
  2. Some random site linking us with Jack Cork on a free. Us and Preston linked but I see no way that he comes here even if we were interested.
  3. I guess the chadometer is swinging back down from a £6m+ transfer kitty towards the fuck all transfer kitty.
  4. David Dunn’s son Isaac another on the list of youth players who have signed contracts. Hopefully he’s as good as his old man!
  5. Birmingham wasting no time in bringing in the replacement for Ruddy. They’ve signed Peacock-Farrell today.
  6. It didn’t work out for Leo. We’ve done really well to get our money back on him as I was expecting him to have to be released as he’d been so poor to date. I have no issue at all with Pears staying as number two. He’s not a starter at this level but no issue at all with him as back up. We need to spend the Leo money on a replacement keeper to come in as first choice. Is Ryan still available? Use the £850k to offer him a package to come as our starting keeper.
  7. Steven Caulker the latest player to come out and call us out as pretty shitty behind the scenes. Offer him a 2 year deal so he turns down another offer and then the owners change it to a 1 year when he’s sat in the offer. Players and clubs won’t want to deal with us.
  8. Did I see somewhere that there was interest in Ruddy from Newcastle? I’m sure it’s one of those Scott Carson type deals but he may fancy that over a move to us.
  9. I don’t want to linger the point but I do think 7 or 8 players is basically a squad overhaul. I guess it depends if we bring in first teamers or squad fillers. I’d argue that we don’t need any more squad filers as we have enough of those. What we need is quality in the starting line up. On that basis Id actually be happy if we bought in less than 7/8 players as long as they were quality championship standard who would go straight into the starting line up.
  10. You’re calling out Riordan as a good player at this level…. How…. I’m pretty sure he’s never even played at this level so how can he be a good player at it. That’s embarrassing even for you lol.
  11. Guessing there’s no transfer news then
  12. You say so many things that you forget what you’ve said. Im sure you also said that you never said that you wanted players in by the end of June (now)
  13. It’ll be £4m next week and then £3m the week after. By the end of the window it will be ‘trust the process, we’ve bought in some amazing free transfers without having to spend any money’. I’m starting to think the C in BRFCS stands for Chaddy as it seems to be his own personal site recently.
  14. Surely if we’re spending £7m this summer we don’t need to be looking at free agents.
  15. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting for one moment that it makes any sense at all for Fleck to still be in the building, but the fact that his is is a bit of a worry. I would not be at all shocked to see him get a contract and then break down within a week or so. It wouldn’t shock me at all for Waggot to give him a contract with nothing in it at all to protect us if (when) he does get injured again.
  16. The only way a deal for Waggots old mate Fleck makes any sense at all is if it’s heavily appearance and performance based. We do not want to be wasting a wage on him if he’s going to break down after 2 games. A fit fleck would be our best midfielder but he’s not been fit for 3 seasons so there’s definitely doubts there. If he’s confident in his fitness then he’ll be willing to take a performance based contract.
  17. One game, I’d argue Ruddy was one of the worst championship keepers to come to Ewood last season yet we are looking at him.
  18. I know we probably won’t be going for a keeper but if we were we could do worse than Arthur Okonkwo. Been released by Arsenal but did really well on loan at Wrexham on loan last season. He’s only 22 so would have potential sell on value as well.
  19. As others have pointed out we could get over £3m. The Elliot deal was quite a while ago so the £4.3m is probably quite a bit lower than that based on how the transfer market has gone. it’s pretty similar tbf.
  20. Although it’s a bit harsh on using Fulham for this example after what happened with Elliot and Liverpool.
  21. What are we looking at frees when we’re spending £7m on transfers according to you.
  22. I’m sure it was mentioned on here before that sell on fees include loan fees as well. Someone linked to a document which spoke about it last year when this was all discussed the first time around.
