  1. I know Begovic has been mentioned by Nixon/Chaddy. He’s open to a move north and still has property in the north west. He has quite a few options though so I’m not convinced he ends up here.
  2. I know we shouldn’t be looking at other clubs business but it’s mad that Birmingham have just paid £4m for a player to play in the third tier of English football. He was going to be playing in Europe at his previous club. How are they getting around the profit and loss rules? I’m sure 17k season ticket sales helps but surely it’s not going to be enough to offset the losses from last season.
  3. Loan is probably the only option as they paid more than €2m for him last summer. He signed a 4 year deal but hasn’t done a lot for them (1 goal).
  4. You say this like it’s fact. You have a habit of posting opinion as fact based on what you hear. You have no idea if they have been offered contracts yet you post it as absolute fact yet again. At least we can use some of that £7m we’re going to spend and we can have them in the door for pre season. Time to accept that you know nothing, just like the rest of us. Also love the fact that your latest blame is pointed at JDT and GB after spending the last couple of years wanking over how wonderful they both were!
  5. Cheap Gallagher replacement. I guess if I was trying to be positive I’d say his numbers aren’t as bad if you take away last season. He’s also a free, and knows the manager.
  6. Also, and slightly randomly, Asmir Begovic is a friend of a friend so I may be able to get some info on that one.
  7. I mentioned one last week who Eustace would know very well from his time at Birmingham, Scott Hogan. Probably falls into the ‘gash’ category but wouldn’t surprise me.
  8. We’re going to end up with Scott Hogan aren’t we 😞
  9. Starting today in what appears to be our strongest line up. Brittain Captain is an off one when Hyam and Travis both play.
  10. Yeah but it was an Alan Nixon £20m tbf. Which is basically pretty much worthless and of no serious basis.
  11. Agreed. No point in bringing in another young keeper in my opinion. We need to bring in a much more experienced keeper to work with the younger ones we already have.
  12. I think he’ll be a good signing at that money.
  13. Sounds like Vale did well for the goal and put it on a plate for Markandey
  14. Gent had a good loan at Motherwell. Think they were impressed with him.
  15. Pears beats away Whalley's cross into the path of Conneely, who fires over from distance. #ACCvROV 🔵⚪️ Pears doing Pears things…
  16. So that’s the market we’re in for the Leo replacement then
  17. First half 11 is probably our starting line up against Derby next month.
  18. Alan Browne leaving North End after turning down a contract extension. Probably don’t need another midfield enforcer tbf but I wondered if he was one we’d looked at.
  19. Ryan Nyambe will be at Ewood Park for the opening game of the season. Signed for Derby.
  20. Some random site linking us with Jack Cork on a free. Us and Preston linked but I see no way that he comes here even if we were interested.
  21. I guess the chadometer is swinging back down from a £6m+ transfer kitty towards the fuck all transfer kitty.
  22. David Dunn’s son Isaac another on the list of youth players who have signed contracts. Hopefully he’s as good as his old man!
  23. Birmingham wasting no time in bringing in the replacement for Ruddy. They’ve signed Peacock-Farrell today.
