  1. I’d take that with a pinch of salt. Seems a fair bit of politics go on between Swag and GB… and considering his track record of BS; the bus and the lies about bulldozing Brockhall are two that immediately spring to mind, make it two pinches.
  2. On strikers his record’s been poor, no question about that. That aside his signings and contract renewals have been anything but bullshit from where I’m looking.
  3. Surely all those *thousands* that can never get a sniff of an away ticket to watch The New Pep’s revolution would’ve jumped at the chance?
  4. Take it you are now back with us for every twist and turn of the relegation journey?
  5. ‘Constantly said’? You never say it unless explicitly asked. Of course we’d do better with better people running the show, we are actually seeing that with fans doing a better job re Watford game. The point is these owners don’t want better and never have.
  6. Who gives Swag a free pass? Nobody on here, think it’s pretty clear the consensus is he’s been an abysmal ‘leader’. ( BTW, these owners could remove him tomorrow.) You, however, have been the only one giving these owners one for 12 years as this club has withered on the vine throughout and become a shell from what they inherited. Even now you still exclude them when posting your standard wide ranging list of individuals to blame from the tea lady up.
  7. Why’s Swag still in post, Rev?
  8. So you can’t name every player in Wolves’ squad?
  9. ‘Demand is so high, it’s impossible to get an away ticket these days’
  10. Take the other club’s mentioned out of it and they are a collection of comments you’ll be hearing at Ewood on Saturday.
  11. Typical how? Not a chance you took that worse than a Rovers defeat, I’ve seen how you take those. You were just after a day of back and forth with folk to try and burnish your enlightened views in comparison to all these dinosaurs roaming about brfcs (just like last week).
  12. Cracking 🎣 attempt there, alas no bites 😀
  13. No visit from the ‘umble brothers tonight then, I take it?
  14. ‘We know it’s tough, we know about the parachutes and all that, but we want to win games and get this club back to where it belongs, let’s see how we go, we can’t wait to get going’. Just standard stuff for execs at football clubs in the run up to KO. Here; ‘well no pressure to win, just player development, so all about staying out of League 1 really… anyway you seen the new bus we’ve, err, “bought” ‘.
  15. Also, many Blackburners have moved out of the town over the past 20/30 years. Of course, working within Blackburn itself and especially trying to pique the interest of an Asian community that have historically not been at Ewood in big numbers is important, vitally so. But the club seems to be oblivious to where big numbers of the fanbase actually reside, yet their own ticketing database should tell them that. The whole operation needs a total shakeup, laziness and complacency over a decade plus has seen switched on commercial operations at PNE, Bolton, Burnley and even Stanley eating our lunch.
  16. I’m talking about ‘Coyley’. The only one sacked in eight years. 2011 to 2013 was obviously a revolving door. However, post Bowyer they’ve pretty much just left whoever has a contract to manage the first team to it. As always, they take a very different path to every other owner in football.
  17. That ST stat is no surprise, take Darwen out of it and I’d wager that residents of Blackburn itself now probably make up a lower percentage of our ST holder base than they ever have before. Yet, the club’s outreach is still massively focussed on Blackburn, worrying that once again it’s only fans groups that actually seem to recognise some of the pretty obvious issues we have with the fanbase.
  18. If TM’s agent had happened to have wrangled an extra two years on his deal he’d still be here now. This is the only club that just doesn’t sack managers. Just once (and that was that total clown with the head tennis and doughnuts training sessions) in eight years.
  19. It’s all transactional to Swag. Very simple equation, he knows he will hit his financial target with 8/9k buying at £400/£500, he can’t be certain that he can still hit it by selling more under £300. So why take a risk? More bums on seats? Better atmosphere? Why does he care about that? Sounds like too much hard work, think of the extra stewards and cleaners!
  20. ‘Resigned to losing him’. Ah well, what you gonna’ do. 🤷‍♂️ Pathetic from a CEO.
  21. Surely he’s Dack mk2 and he walks out for nowt in June.
  22. So third January in a row then that this dysfunctional operation will torpedo any chance of top 6. With yet another record PL TV deal signed (which, of course, exponentially started rising in value as soon as we were relegated). We will certainly look back at these last three seasons as the biggest of all the big missed opportunities we’ve had in this sorry decade.
  23. Notoriously fickle lot on their forum but they aren’t happy about it on the whole… https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/mogga-gone.1621061/
  24. ‘I can’t wait to watch every single one of these extra games as it’s the best league in the world and the Sky coverage is absolutely brilliant and I have a Micah Richards poster up in my bedroom’
