  1. Ladies and gentlemen may I present to you the CEO of Blackburn Rovers Football Club…
  2. 😂 Lock the thread, nay the board… you won’t hear a better comeback than that.
  3. Some crap performances, of course there were, especially those particular two either side of the World Cup, but it was a transition. But considering; it was out with five years of TM and his culture around the place, new manager, new system, the emphasis on fitness, so many young lads being introduced… he did remarkably well to have us top 6 pretty much throughout, ‘terrible’, it certainly wasn’t’
  4. Terrible first six months?! We spent the entirety of it in the top 6…
  5. … and Ray Harford. Remember that day to day KK was fairly hands off at the training ground. Totally different than modern managers, say, Pep or Klopp who micro manage to a huge degree. Kenny came into his own in the run up/match day.
  6. End of the day this how forums are, everywhere. Extremely reactive. It’s totally different at the ground where the Rovers support is very patient. Saw a post on a Facebook group today saying how ‘shit’ Rovers fans were (as a collective) because there were some ‘negative’ posts during the game, presumably from folk watching through a Firestick anyway. Online life is not real life.
  7. That place does not allow *negativity* of any kind. ‘5-0. Think Klopp got it a bit wrong today’ LIFE BAN
  8. It was tongue in cheek, obviously BB… come on now don’t be taking this place too seriously!
  9. The Liverpool forum RAWK locks down the board during the game to ensure folk aren’t coming out with all that impulsive stuff you may well regret after… you should try it here, Mods 🤭
  10. For a early 80s journeyman Round doesn’t half get his face at plenty of club events 😄… helps being a local lad, I suppose.
  11. Semir was getting abuse from the crowd on his debut is going to be a line on here going forward now I take it? Narrator: He obviously didn’t.
  12. Wasn’t that just the one poster (the same one celebrating a certain loan move to Sheffield) ?
  13. Remember when a certain poster wanted his legs broke… that was, err, a weird one.
  14. 14,800 home fans on at Deepdale today, I wouldn’t say that is particularly impressive considering they are selling decades high numbers of season tickets and are top of the league…
  15. Surprised he hasn’t, they can have the lower tier, us the upper… oh shit one of his minions reading this will be telling him that there’s even more savings to be made.
  16. Vital you get back whilst you have the parachute money… so you appoint that dickhead from Swansea 🤷‍♂️
  17. I was talking about the summer.
  18. Brockhall? Sounds a waste of some prime real estate to me. Lets just get back to Pleasy, another job for Lowe, he can fish balls out the River Darwen as well as putting the cones out.
  19. Makes no sense whichever way you slice it. The commercial operation down there is completely unfit for purpose and needs gutting… good job there isn’t a pressing need to increase revenue or anything.
  20. Oh it will undoubtedly be smaller. I’d be surprised if we hit 5k.
  21. So what if the fanbase would have been up in arms? That shouldn’t remotely come into it. If the club needed the cash, and if he had refused to sign a new deal, then off he goes.
  22. The lack of basic knowledge down there of how football fans tick never fails to amaze me. ’The Jack Walker will be able to accommodate all home fans’. So if we expect a crowd of under 10k we now only open one stand? We won’t see it open again then for the vast majority of cup ties going forward in that case. And so what if all fans could fit in one stand? How about offering a service to your supporters, how about recognising the decades folk have sat in there, how about encouraging a bit of atmosphere behind the goal for the players. Pathetic the lot of them.
  23. This current incarnation of an Accrington based club has only had 15 years or so as a league club.
  24. Anything that drills home to everybody (that includes a lot of our own fans, never mind opposing) that Blackburn Rovers is a historic club, a founder member, full of heritage is fine by me. This club will thrive again if given a chance.
  25. ‘Mr Blackburn’ is *checks notes*, err, Rob Coar. Everything sounds rosy, by the way, some little snag about slashing the wage bill overnight, but we’ll gloss over that.
