  1. If you say so.
  2. sympatheticclaret on a Rovers forum literally *minutes* after getting promoted.
  3. Bitter? Au contraire, been there done that. When I lived at Pleckgate, Alan Irvine lived down my road. 💅 (Players actually living in Blackburn, fancy that.)
  4. Strangers? Not in the RV!
  5. And is Swag finally nearing this fabled retirement?
  6. I know, usually arm in arm with Swag whenever I’ve been in corporate.
  7. Take it Paul Mani is just out of shot?
  8. ‘Kin ell, looks grim in there.
  9. This sounds much more like Ribble Valley life than Blackburn life. Doubt you’d run into all these folk down Mill Hill. 😁
  10. Haven’t you said yourself that a lot of this stuff you hear ends up being not true?
  11. A teenager who looks like he loves getting involved in the rough side of the game walking out of training with senior pros if he gets touched? Hmmm…
  12. He deserves it because he was formally a player. “When this came up it was a big opportunity for myself and it is an opportunity that I think I have worked for, because I played as a professional for 20 years or so, I worked and I learnt the game,” Lampard said.
  13. Watched it on a ‘dodgy Norwegian’ channel in The Sportsman’s at Four Lane Ends (RIP). Absolutely packed it was, real novelty to watch a 3pm away game on TV in those pre firestick days!
  14. He just needed a run of games!
  15. From Burnley away we’ve been on 19 times, including red button, in 25 games (that’s up to Luton, so could be 20 in 26 if Millwall picked).
  16. They don’t, apart from the last few weeks there’s hardly been a ticket offer all season (and we have some of the most expensive STs in the league).
  17. And how many times Luton/Millwall/Coventry, I.e fellow non parachute clubs that have been around the top 6 for months, but no real automatic hopes.
  18. So now confirmed, we will finish the season having had just *one* Saturday 3pm league match post Huddersfield on the 5th November (1 game in 13). Extraordinary stuff for a club that has been looking at a play off place at best.
  19. Why on earth would the likes of Leicester and West Ham want Lamps with his track record?
  20. Some people will pay £30-£35, but with only 2k away fans you have to sell 9,000/10,000 walk ons to even hit 20k. Ain’t happening for a Sky midweek game at that price.
  21. 7,000 Dingles to fill an end/fleece and a weekend KO, of course £30-£35 is to be expected/reasonable , but if the circumstances change then you need to adapt. It’s now a midweek Sky game with only 2,000 Dingles, so £30-£35 now not so reasonable if you want a big gate.
  22. Yes I was being optimistic. £30-£35 it is. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/april/06/ticket-news--rovers-v-burnley/ There is going to be ‘high demand for tickets’ supposedly, think they’ll be in for a shock. It’ll be a bigger gate tomorrow.
  23. Norwich have 27k sell outs every week in the Championship, parachute payments and player sales. Southampton are not a club that has promotion sewn up, they are unstable off the pitch with a conveyor belt of sacked managers. The likes of Tella will even be there, will they? ‘Not many relegated clubs would compare’? Get out of it. They will have a good chance, of course, all parachute clubs do, but to write off an automatic place already to a club like Southampton, massive hyperbole.
  24. Is that not more a case of he’s on big PL cash currently and any renewed deal wouldn’t be…
