  1. If only we were lucky enough to be situated in an English region stretching from Scotland to Yorkshire that only has three clubs in the top three divisions… instead of the dozen plus in just a forty mile radius from us!
  2. He must be who the Rovers commercial team are getting their NFT/crypto advice from… https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-63988368
  3. Only professional team in history in which *performances* come before results. What even is this club.
  4. We’d sold about 1700 yesterday morning. Now off sale (none on the day).
  5. That’s a story lifted from a Rovers piece on LancsLive, so that’s why it has that angle. As for KM, he has a season ticket at Brighton and goes to a fair few away games too, so I’m not sure that’s a fair accusation…
  6. Of course he knows he ain’t up to it, but he’s backed him for so long on here against all evidence, he doesn’t want to now lose face. Nowt wrong in just holding your hands up…
  7. That was one of our biggest home turnouts in the league cup for donkeys years. So Christ knows why people are still decrying it. A lot of our supporters are seemingly as clueless as Swag when it comes to understanding our fanbase.
  8. … and an indoor all weather. I’m sure I don’t remember them training at Ewood day after day whenever the temperature drops before the last couple of years.
  9. No shirts, definitely time to get that age old brfcs argument going again! 😁
  10. From 1949… what are those Rovers shirts again? 👀
  11. He’s great craic though, apparently…
  12. If that’s the case, then despite this supposed new set-up, nothing at this club will have changed. I’m personally going to give GB the benefit of the doubt, but if Hirst did inexplicably sign on a permanent deal for actual millions of pounds, then we might as well give up on this club under this ownership.
  13. Behave, Hirst is miles away. It’s nearly January and you won’t get ‘a run of games’ if you offer absolutely zero when you do get a start. You need to grasp it. If loanees aren’t up to it, they can’t play, so let’s stop wasting time trying to develop the sub standard players of other clubs. His career isn’t our problem.
  14. Think it depends when you do the poll. Five minutes after a defeat vs five days would make all the difference! 😁
  15. Jury’s out, fair enough. Jury made a decision in 10 minutes and he’s guilty? Not so much.
  16. The pitch was looking ok until they trained on it all last week, will be a mess by the end of winter.
  17. No it doesn’t mean anything in December, we saw that last season. People can judge him whenever they want, but sacking him when 3rd, with our budget, just months into the job and only 1 transfer window? Lost the plot totally this place (well a few on here have).
  18. Football is a results business and we are sitting third. It isn’t a ‘but, but’, it’s the whole point of professional sport.
  19. Don’t bother with cup games? He’d played 3 won 3 before tonight. Better than the last fella managed in five years. Yeah let’s sack the manager months into the job after just beating a fellow play off rival away to go into Christmas 3rd. This place. Do folk actually read what they are typing when it’s post match? 🤦‍♂️
  20. Exactly that. Cheap tickets do and have worked time and again, but it is far more noticeable for a league game when you already have 8/9k ST holders in the tent and you are just adding to the gate with extra walk ons and a bigger away support. Tonight, plenty of non season ticket won’t be there, I’d say well over half the ones I know aren’t going - the gaps in the Blackburn End illustrate that, and unlike other city clubs we just don’t have the extra floating fans to take up the slack. Just simple maths, really. Unfortunately it is lost on the social media warriors.
  21. I know, I’m just generally musing as to why a club that usually brings 2k or so are suddenly all out the woodwork.
  22. If they hadn’t have opened the Riverside in the first place (like usual for cup ties), the crowd would have hardly even been mentioned. As soon as they announced that they had closed it, it’s been a week of angst. We’ll have c6.5/7k home fans there, which is absolutely standard for a cup tie against run of the mill opposition (especially midweek just before Christmas), it’s all been a very odd overreaction.
  23. No surprise that they are fetching plenty. First PL season for twenty plus years means getting tickets for standard away allocations of 2/3k have been hard to come by. So a cheap and huge allocation after a month break for a club in its most high profile position for a long time was always going to sell well. Of course they will now be giving it the big ‘un , but in reality they are just another club with very lucky geography.
  24. It is on their website, fourth news story down. (They’ve sold over 6,500, by the way).
  25. Great to have you on board. 🙄
