  1. It’s also about arbitrary administrative boundaries.
  2. Friedel was the official MoM, you can see him with a lovely looking trophy on the lap of honour... Sparky was immense that day though.
  3. I hope that’s the case, absolutely no reason why rural Lancs with minimal cases, places around Lancaster and Wyre, for example, should be tagged with somewhere like Hyndburn.
  4. Thought all Lancs would be moved Tiers, not on a borough by borough basis, or not at all? I.e the big kick off in Tier 3 Kent which has a big variance across the county.
  5. Getting old? Ales, be they IPA or whatever have been a British beer long before lager.
  6. Ironic as a load of their fanbase live in (Tier 3) Kent these days...
  7. First game with fans in their new ground too, so will be a bit of occasion even with 2,000 scattered about...
  8. Third of the season gone and 3 points between an automatic promotion place and 10th. It never lets you down this league...
  9. Those gifted Stanley shirts will be getting well worn by the kids of Hyndburn... good luck Rovers in trying to attract future support from that borough...
  10. What’s happened to the cyclical Steve Ke*n puff piece that used to oddly drop into the tabloids each year?
  11. I’m not arsed, our history and traditions speak for themselves, just think we’ve gone through the looking glass when the likes of Reading and Brentford are deemed ‘fashionable’. With the league now without the likes of ‘glamorous’ Leeds and Villa, even taking away being the joint biggest historical achievers in the league, on the present day pitch we are the highest goalscorers in the division with the top scorer in AA, if that still doesn’t make you ‘attractive’ to broadcasters, what does?
  12. Moved due to Doncaster races, from memory.
  13. Why would I be arsey? I don’t care what the rationale was as long as he does the business. So anyway, this rationale wasn’t from the Mowbray quotes you thought you’d read, but your line into the regime? You’d think you would have mentioned your inside track to start with...
  14. Cardiff first game of the season when we actually thought we had a chance that year. I’m struggling after that, I certainly don’t think we’ve been to Ewood since on a Friday night.
  15. Don’t get arsey because you can’t find the quotes...
  16. Those 3 caveats are the 3 and 3 numerous posters put together on here, TM has never come out with it.
  17. The most trophy laden club in the league (with Forest) are ‘unfashionable’, oh to be as prestigious as fecking Brentford...
  18. I sit with my Dad, but yeah I don’t recall ‘bubbling’ our seats in any way when I bought it this time.
  19. Quick Twitter search...
  20. Maybe I’ve got a bad memory, but in our 8 years back in the ‘EFL’ I honestly can’t remember more than a handful of occasions we’ve been shown live on a Friday night, yet there’s a game on Sky pretty much every Friday through the season...
  21. You know brfcs isn’t representative of the wider fanbase, you’ve banged that drum for years when you were being accused of being ‘Mr Contrarian’ on some issue or other, but now it ‘surely must be’ as it backs up your point about the massed pitchfork-ers in that bear pit down Ewood. Good to see you are straight back into the saddle...
  22. Brfcs is representative of the fanbase now? Good one that Joe!
  23. Obviously you didn’t read my post, I was replying to S8 stating what he’s heard at away games, of course people come out with shit at Ewood too, I’ve been listening to it since I was about 5 years old, but on the whole, the fanbase has been behind him
  24. You ever thought about going into motivational speaking, Paul?
  25. Of course it does. But you can’t judge a fanbase by the rantings of a few pissed up imbeciles at away games (many of whom never step foot in ‘shit’ Ewood). However, as a whole, the crowd has been great with him and I was proud of us for that.
