Bit like thinking we are playing ‘top’ and are in line for automatic promotion. Bit of realism needed on both sides. There’s promise there, but can we win the requisite amount of games? I foresee a few matches in which we are picked off like last night, more home frustration as sides sit in, but a fair few good wins against some of the average sides. Will it be enough?

Any reason why my posts are being deleted? (Oh I see, because even the Mods know it’s a one man fishing expedition, and nobody is actually that deluded). -

It was us that fell over the line in ‘95, not them. -
A non starter I would think. Bit of a political play with UEFA by the clubs, so the ‘reformed’ Champions League due to start in 2024 will be a European Super (Premier?) League in all but name.

Considering Kevin Gallagher still doesn’t even though he’s lived here for nearly 30 years and Andy Bayes tees every question to him with ‘Rovers...’, I like this young lad and his very hip haircut.
-
Very candid for someone still playing, though I suppose you get to his age and you think ‘feck it!’ Oh and I’ll remind folk of this video when they start banging on about how ‘the game’s changed’, ‘players rarely drink/go out’, ‘they come back from the close season these days without an inch of fat’ etc etc

‘Founder Members Accrington Stanley’ is often trotted out, so no surprises they’ve got that wrong. -

He’ll be cracking after Christmas... be angling for a new deal. -
I heard this last week, very murky going’s on. The EFL bureaucrats at HQ deemed the £300 odd million on the table from the US, with clubs facing extinction, not something to pass on to the clubs to even consider - you know the 72 entities that ARE the EFL. Nothing to do with Parry not wanting to derail his Liverpool/Man Utd venture, of course?

The ‘Taking Back Ewood’ campaign of the late 2000s saw us sell 20,000 STs.
-
We’ve lost half our fanbase because we left the PL and had disgraceful owners taking the piss out of the fanbase, we had 20,000 ST holders in 2010 under that seeming ‘long ball Bolton Bastard’.
-
You honestly went home disappointed after winning a Premier League game? Seeing our beloved Rovers, a club with limited resources, in the top half of the biggest league in the world? Just can’t fathom that, honestly.
-
Once the new signings are up to speed and others back from quarantine/injury/paternity, I doubt we’ll be seeing much more of Chapman and Buckley (or Dolan starting).
-
Unless I’m missing something, his whole game seems to be based on picking the ball up deep, running with it for a bit and then looking for a foul. Sure that wasn’t what TM thought he was buying, £7million or £700k...
-
Thought it was a textbook away performance. I’d be thrilled as a Forest fan, yes.
-
Didn’t they have three times the shots we had? And hit the woodwork twice (as the away side).
-
You don’t get pleasure from nicking a win after a poor performance? One of the best feelings you have as a football fan, no?
-
Winning is the best entertainment in football. Because winning games is what improves your club and ultimately sees it thrive. If you can do it with ‘style’, great, if not, just find a way to win.
-
Nice malapropism of ‘death knell’ and ‘final nail in the coffin’ there!
-
It’s all comes down to an irrational dislike of Allardyce, all kinds of mental gymnastics to justify them cheering his sacking from the rafters that day, instead of seeing it as a warning sign in giant capital letters.
-
Well obviously it’s the manager’s call. We could preface every post we make with that disclaimer!
-
SG as a centre forward, I agree that there’s something to work with, however the ‘wide forward’ thing has to stop and stop now.

Slagging folk off is deemed ‘hate’ these days. A social media-ism. ‘Hater’ etc. Shame as REAL hate is all too prevalent in the world and silly application of it dilutes it.
