  1. Odd downvote from Joey there, not sure thumbs down emojis help the debate on here, if even who I thought were sensible posters resort to it.
  2. I don’t care Chaddy and neither does anybody else outside the summer tournaments… and neither will you if he wins the World Cup! But at the end of the day the FA obviously think no English managers up to it. Shows their ‘pathways’, St George ‘s Park and all the rest of it haven’t been much cop, doesn’t it!
  3. I don’t think it ever was going to impact it this season as season ticket holders would be buying in the summer without quite releasing just how much they were going to be messed about… next season will be interesting (across the Championship). As an example if it is off today we’ll have had just *four* Saturday 3pms by late January.
  4. So by your metric Mowbray should’ve got the England job over Tuchel too… so not an endorsement of Lamps actually being any good, fair enough!
  5. Two different things. Fans who haven’t been to Ewood for twelve plus years won’t automatically return because this lot have fucked off. Now if we are lucky enough to attract owners that care, that take the club back to what it was - be that engagement, be that pricing, be that success then of course crowds will rise, but the majority won’t be fellas that knocked it on the head in 2012. On the flip side Venky’s are replaced with more nefarious characters the dial won’t move at all
  6. Not this again, there aren’t thousands of fans across the water waiting for ‘the Venky’s to leave’ Most of the 2010/2012 departees have long gone and won’t be back whoever has the deeds. The general floating fan will however, come more regularly if there’s a good well priced product to watch… we ain’t got one of those and never will under these owners (so yes all roads do go back to Venky’s in the end).
  7. … await social media photo from ground of no covers
  8. Come on we must all know how to translate Chaddy-speak by now? ’we’ll see’ is ‘yep, hands up that was a daft opinion, but I can’t row back now’.
  9. No he isn’t (Burnley aside), Leeds have already been given 7k+
  10. Home area crowds haven’t dropped this season. Once Leeds, Sunderland, Dingles, PNE visit I’d imagine we’ll finish the season with the highest average attendance since 2012, a low bar, obviously but current crowds are just back to where they were c2014 time - I.e we are stagnant as the rest of the league has seen gates rise exponentially this past decade.
  11. £250 minimum, £309 in the JWU. If they honestly think rolling out the likes of half arsed Buckley is going to get folk charging towards the ticket office (oh wait, they can’t, it’s never open) website at that insane pricing, then they are even more puddled down there than I thought.
  12. Boxing Day, so covers 12.
  13. ‘Blackburn’ *again*… in the LT of all places. Ian, put a word in, the fact it’s sub-edited from Newport or wherever it is is no excuse. (Another good read, by the way. Can you and Rich do a job share for all Rovers coverage?)
  14. This is the pricing for a half season ticket, at a middling Championship club. Yes you read it right a half season ticket, not a full one.
  15. £477 pro rata. Which is more than even the phase 3 price in the Blackburn End which was £449. As Mark says big hikes obviously coming next season.
  16. Be more than that on as Pompey have sold 2,000, which is a fair following.
  17. Surely nobody seriously does... apart from Harry Kane (and roverandout).
  18. Is there anybody around the place at any kind of sign off level that even supports BRFC/has the faintest clue about its history?
  19. The 150th is going to be a shambles, isn’t it…
  20. 15,000 average gates, Championship status and a Cat 1 academy despite everything this past 14 years has thrown on the battered shell of BRFC. There is still something to salvage and make thrive again for the right people, alas I just can’t ever picture a day when they’ve fucked off.
  21. I think all three are unlikely too. But as they will never sell by the looks of it and they certainly won’t ever make a stab at running the club properly, the more likely end game of the three is some legal tangle that forces it off them… but yes, plodding on for eternity to the lower leagues seems most likely.
  22. Where have I shown indifference or asked for administration? I’m stating my opinion on what will be the eventuality. So presumably then you think they will willingly sell or actually improve the club? When will we see any inkling of that?
  23. Stopped following the convo when the argument was that bringing in Tony bloody Watt was part of what made it a good window.
  24. Brfcs can’t be, but plenty of the rest of the fanbase can be/is being.
