  1. Come on Mercer, you're far to long in the tooth to believe this nonsense. The owners are the problem, the managers are just a side show. 593 pages of managerial discussion, when the owners are the real villains. If fans can't see that after 10yrs, you're not looking hard enough. Venkys Out.
  2. I drove into Sheffield earlier today and driving past Hillsborough park I see 2 lads wearing the Blue and White halves loud and proud. I have to admit I've seen Rover shirts here before, could be the same lads. This site has turned into a cauldron of misery, but when you drive into 3rd city and see Rover shirts, everything in the world is great again, lets face it, we could be Wednesday 😟
  3. Bolton away 1977, a loss, but some great footage. I bet a few on here went to this.
  4. Stokes out of the NZ test series with a broken finger: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/56770996
  5. Thats a bit of an assault on the senses for a Sunday morning @Dreyski πŸ˜€
  6. The Duke of Edinburgh award scheme help thousands of disadvantaged kids from poorer backgrounds across the globe. He was an early pioneer of the green agenda. I feel so sorry for the Queen, after isolating for 12 months she loses her husband, devastating for her but as always she’ll come back. RIP
  7. We ended up at Augusta municipal before finding the National Rick πŸ˜†
  8. I listened to a Justin Rose interview earlier in the week talking about how welcoming Augusta is to everyone, a great place to play golf, a warm welcome goes without saying. I drove into the driveway of Augusta a few years ago and was chased down the approach to the main building by armed guards and bollocked for daring to turn off the highway into the drive, and politely told to F......go away in that polite American way.... "We've turned US presidents away, what makes you so special"? πŸ˜ƒ
  9. I'm sure you've already thought about this but contacting our high profile supporters to sign and share would boost the numbers. Liam Livingston, Wayne Hemmingway, Steve Pemberton, Matt Smith - Just off the top of my head.
  10. I was having a rant, maybe you missed that.....
  11. That should be **** πŸ‘
  12. Poster who are complaining about spelling, grammar and how people speak? Get a fooking grip people.
  13. I know what you mean SG, some have missed that point by a country mile in all the hysteria and back slapping over the letter. Some walked the walk when king rat was here, the vast majority did sod all, i think thats the point you're making. But we are where we are and I applaud Simon and the rest of the fans for standing up to be counted. Venkys Out.
  14. Hello Al, hope you are well pal πŸ‘
  15. One of those songs lost for many years, recently rediscovered thankfully:
  16. I'm waiting for darrenrover to come online πŸ˜€ Got my tin hat at the ready πŸ‘
  17. QEGS? Bunch of posh boys living off mummy and daddy.... All the cool kids turned down the scholarships and toughed it out at Witton, Darwen Vale, John Rigby, Billinge.... πŸ˜€
  18. A bit like Rovers, this generation are very much mid-table, will never challenge for the main prize because the odds are stacked against us. Its ok to watch, but my god we're crying out for a Terry Butcher or Stuart Pierce at club and international level. onwards and sideways....
  19. Very good performance by Whyte last night against an ageing Poventkin. Harrold Knight, former cornerman for Lenox Lewis, joined the team and his influence was seen immediately with that ramrod job from Whyte, superb stuff. Whyte also showed his class by not celebrating the stoppage, he picked up his own stool and walked over to help Poventkin sit down and evolved, classy move. He deserves another shot at a world title, but when he’ll get that, who knows.
  20. I'll give it a go EA, cheers.
  21. Has anyone watched "The Terror" on BBC2? Got it on record but not had time to watch as yet.
  22. France have been the best side all tournament for me, they'll be a real power moving forward, but Wales looked the best side for large parts of the game yesterday, continually broke the gain line, but just got pipped at the post. A fantastic game, great advert for 6 nations.
