  1. Been in the pub @matt83 🤣 Hope we win for you pal.
  2. Didn't care for him much during his career, arrogant Aussie beach bum, but once he'd retired that was a different matter. Great cricketer, great man and sadly missed.
  3. Spoke to a Brum mate of mine yesterday who said they beat Plymouth last week with a 95 minute winner scored by an Exeter fan! But it looked all game like Plymouth would take the 3 points, very good side, they really surprised him, break quickly and play with tricky wingers hugging the touchline as BankEnd Rover mentions above. Tough game, hope we come away with something for the hordes making the trip to Devon.
  4. Reminds me of king rat dropping players for the Quarter final at Cardiff in 2011, we were 1 game from Wembley, 😤 https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/9391782.full-time-cardiff-city-2-blackburn-rovers-0/
  5. Been to Home Park many times over the years, I once witnessed Tommy Tynan (Plymouths Simon Garner) put 4 past us, that was a long trip home........I saw Scott Sellers score from a corner as the wind was that strong and Howard Gayle called us all "******g mad" for travelling at that way, Cheer Howard! Most memorable has to be the playoff clincher under Kenny. Tough game, but we're a tough side, Plymouth 1 Rovers 3 Anyone staying down there, Plymouth hoe and Barbican area are great, worked down there a few years back now, great areas for hotels, pubs and restaurants. https://www.visitplymouth.co.uk/explore/areas-to-visit/the-hoe https://www.visitplymouth.co.uk/things-to-do/the-barbican-p1706033
  6. How did the ticket sales go? Was it a nightmare to get one?
  7. I have spent the weekend trying to sell the idea of a trip to Dharamsala for the final test in India next March, is there a better venue in world cricket At the foot of the Himalayas?
  8. Or Gallagher as I mentioned on the last page 😉
  9. Gallagher should get more credit, the lad puts in 110% every game.
  10. Well Abram Rover I salute you, great flag for a special player and you're spot on, he epitomises Arte Et Labore
  11. Did anyone see the Sammy Szmodics flag as Watford, I've not seen it myself, if anyone has a photo to share that would be great. The lad is firmly a fan favourite, a superb buy by the team.
  12. So thats racist abuse, pitch invasion, throwing bricks at the Villa team coach and zero points. Welcome to the Premiership you backward w*****s.
  13. Travis, Gally and Hedges take a bow, superb that.
  14. Surprised not to see Gallagher in the starting 11, he's had a very good start to the season, must be tactical or baby fatigue!
  15. Can't add anything to the above, spot on, I was going to raise the theatrics too. Dubois did well for 7/1 underdog, he may even get a 2nd payday if Warren keeps moaning about the low blow!
  16. I’m sure it’s been shared before, but thanks to uncle jacks blue n white army:
  17. It doesn't take a genus to read between the lines, we have an unhappy manager who was sold a club with ambition, that has once again very quickly gone bad. Its all the more galling because after he arrived as 4/5th choice, he does seem to have plenty about him, yet the owners aren't interested in the slightest and he will walk, I have no doubt about that. We have a number of posters who defend Venkys to the hilt, blaming everyone else for the clubs failings. I don't believe they do this because they think they're great owners, but because they think we have no other options. If JDT does walk, will those same posters continue to support the owners?
  18. I’ve just seen Parky interviewing Clint Eastwood in 2003, must have been some incorrect information being given out that he never got him on the show.
  19. Giles, Bell and Kaminski all playing in Premiership tonight, good luck to them.
  20. Gally was playing with an injury for a while last season, doing the hard yards for the side until he was forced to sit things out and recover. He was very good yesterday, scored, we can’t ask for more than that from him. Pity we couldn’t hang on, we draw a line under that game and move on. Onwards and upwards.
  21. Mrs has just watched "Save me" and "6th Commandment" - She says they're both superb, outstanding at times and both wonderfully acted.
  22. Yet we've not struggled to score so far this season Exiled. Rovers 2 Hull City 1
