No foreign coach has ever won a world cup and only 1 has ever won the Euros, so if Gareth decides to leave its English only for me and that puts Eddie Howe in the hot seat if he'd leave Newcastle at best! Lets hope Gareth gives it another 2yrs until the next world cup.

It wasn’t lost on me as I was writing the posts earlier Speedie, but I’ve convinced myself you can’t compare club management and International management. Tournament football is win at all costs, a handful of games, you don’t have to look pretty doing it. Club football needs a little more thought, more entertainment due to sheer number of games over a season.

So much angst about this Dutch team in the lead up to this game, why I have no idea. I was always confident we'd beat them last night, we are the better side and of course we proved that and sent them home. Nobody knows what will happen on Sunday, we have the players individually who can win a final, but regardless of the result, for me Gareth Southgate has once again proven the social media experts wrong and I'd be looking to tie him into the next World Cup campaign right now, as these players are his players and are to a man fully behind the manager, you can't buy that.
