  1. This Southgate critisizm makes no sense whatsoever. He’s the most successful England manager since Alf Ramsey.
  2. Dion Dublin the worst football pundit on Tv?
  3. You should use those powers for good Dom, next Rovers home game 👍
  4. 110,000 at Hampden I seem to recall, makes todays match look like a kids tea party. We used to get 100,000 for the England vrs Scotland school boys match.
  5. He gets abuse on here 🤣🤣 Brilliant, made me laugh out loud.
  6. He never plays, how do you work that one out?
  7. Come on England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
  8. Barry Chuckle the former programme editor was the CEO at the time, useless ****, feathered his own nest then pissed off. He even phoned Nelson up when he moved to Spurs complaining we hadn't received a fee...... Scandalous.
  9. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23781240.nelsen-tugay-kean-voicemail-ended-rovers-career/ I'm going to put this here, Ryan Nelsons departure is a hard read, but nothing we didn't know already.
  10. Once upon a time The Telegraph would have been inundated with letters, Radio Lancs phone in would have jammed, sadly these days this will probably go relatively unnoticed…… The final insult was giving that **** a new contract after 4 wins in 24’ish, but is this another final insult? Venkys out, clueless ****s
  11. This has got to be a mistake surely, they would never close the Bburn End for a competitive game, would they? I often think Waggott is a victim of circumstance, ten bob CEO working for 10 bob owners, but if he's sanctioned this its a bloody disgrace.
  12. I'm sure the Sunderland manager was too when he arrived, but Venkys tend to knock that out of you after while, as we're currently witnessing with JDT.
  13. Anything that damages them is fine by me, the harm they've done to this town and club is immeasurable. I don't want to sound like a scratched record, but I'd take administration today, only then will this grand old club start to recover from the nightmare that has been the last 12yrs. Venkys out. 🤞🤞🤞
  14. I don’t buy into the day tripper theory either, although we had 2 Wednesday fans with us. Yes phenomenal effort by our fans and shows the club still has that pull, if the side are doing well.
  15. The initial allocation was around 4800 if memory serves me correctly and they went on open sale, I bought extra tickets in that period myself, then an extra 1000 were made available, so its nonsense they practically all went to season ticket holders.
  16. How do you work out that practically 6000 were season ticket holders 🤣 Utter nonsense Hasta with respect, tickets were on open sale.
  17. Sorry JohnD but that simply isn’t true in my opinion, in fact far from it. Mowbrays sides had a habit of surrendering leads, you could say at times throwing in the towel, but not JDT’s. You’re watching a different side to me.
  18. How many games did he keep us in last season? How many games did we win because of his saves? Bad day at the office yesterday and posters are looking for a scapegoat as they did after Wigan and we know how that ended up….
  19. Pears was very good in goal for large parts of last season, JDT clearly rates him too. He was written off on here after Wigan away in the cup, let’s not write him off again after 1 bad game.
  20. Venkys came into the club talking about running a well established Premiership team on £5m a year and getting the wages under control to achieve that. Over the past 13yrs they've failed on almost every promise made, but wait, have they finally managed one.......? Our wages are now rumoured to be in the bottom half of the Championship, we now pay poorly as a club, have Venkys finally achieved one goal they set out to do?
  21. Possibly the worst display by a British boxer I think I've seen since Chisora lost on points to Kabayel in Monaco. Smith never threw a punch from start to finish, the fans have been short changed whilst Smith takes his cheque to the bank. Pathetic.
  22. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23763922.blackburn-rovers-boss-hyam-change-buckley-loan-exit/ JDT sounds like he's almost at breaking point, I really hope he sticks around. “I’ve said it many times, I think we need help with bodies,” Tomasson told RoversTV. “Our CEO also said that we need experience. “We need goalscorers and we need numbers as well, so it is good we have got a couple of numbers in. They are young players, which I like to develop. “Of course, we didn’t succeed with the experience which you need in a competitive league. Hopefully, we have got goals but we don’t know it yet. “I was disappointed to (lose) Buckley, I would rather have kept him. “But as I understand it, we needed to get players out before players could come in. We all know it is a stretched squad and John is a good player.” The club were keen to bring in a further signing before the window slammed shut but were unsuccessful in their efforts. “I thought when John went away on loan, we would probably get one more player in,” the boss continued. “It didn’t happen, I don’t know the reason for that. We all know that we need players in some positions and it is a tough league.” Dom Hyam came off at half time during the 3-0 defeat at Plymouth, with Scott Wharton playing the second half. When asked about the change, Tomasson replied: “He was not feeling that well. “I don’t know the reason for that, it could be because it has been a very busy week with a lot of travelling and sitting on the bus with air conditioning.”
