VI only success as a manager came at Barnsley where he reached the play offs. He played the long ball with limited player ability and zero budget to speak of, a superb effort given the circumstances. I firmly believe that season alone sold him to our morons in the boardroom.

Can’t say I noticed it last night to be honest, but let’s not pretend it’s an Ibrox issue, it’s a Scottish football issue and happens at many grounds across Scotland.

Red card killed the game for Rangers, but they deserved a draw after that battling performance. The crowd were fantastic, I love going to watch Rangers, it’s like football used to be before Sky came along and sanitised the working man’s game.

We are at Ibrox later for Rangers v Athletic Bilbao Europa Play off game. It’s been another season to forget on the domestic front, with Rangers miles off the pace and Celtic dominating once again. But Rangers do seem to find another gear on these European nights, so fingers crossed.

Absolutely spot on. Allowing players like Dolan to walk out of the club is just another example of consistent mismanagement by these appalling owners.
