Bairstow has more than earned his stripes over the past few years, he's done remarkable to come back so soon from that injury too. Saying all that I wouldn't have been disappointed had he been dropped for this one, but you have to admire the loyalty shown here, same with Crawley, who is technically one of our best batsmen, but has struggled at times. I was fortunate enough to attend the Old Firm game at Ibrox at the end of last season and although it was pretty much a dead rubber, with no away fans, the atmosphere and experience was superb. We are off again to watch them play Aberdeen in the early part of the season, if you get the chance, go and see the old firm, you'll not regret it. Moeen didn't play that way for the most part, he was trying to stick around with some quality shots at times. Woakes was bounced out trying to project himself. Its not all bazball as some would have you think.

The shot by Bairstow, as den says, was awful, but your point still stands. They're the best side in the world, we should keep that in mind.

He needs to attack now as Bairstow goes cheaply.
