    Completely different players, Rothwell in centre mid is suicide, he would give the ball away way too much in key areas. Rothwell can only be played as either a number 10 or wide if the fullback behind him realises he won't get protection.

    If I could give all of Mulgrews goals to someone else I would - I'm really not sure how helpful it is defensively to have your centre back on for a hat trick. Does it reduce concentration on defence? I don't know.

    I totally agree - it's not a fitness thing, it's a team spirit thing. They're all too matey. Imagine Andy Todd, Ryan Nelsen or similar when we went 2-2 yesterday, they would have been furious, there's no way they would have let another in after that. Our current lot seem to accept losing far too easily.

    Start a bidding war for Dack then reinvest every single penny, plus a bit more into a centre back, left back, central midfielder, winger and striker. And if they don't trust Mowbray to sign the players get a new manager in while we are at it.

    Hmm - the last sentence changes things slightly. I can see Brereton not being identified by Mowbray, it's the not wanted bit I struggle with.

    Come on now, don't be silly. Mowbray isn't the sort of man to accept that. Venkys are so secretive they only trust a few certain people. There's no way on earth players are being approved by Venkys and signed by Rovers without Mowbrays consent. Non story.

    Big Xmas coming up with lots of tough games. I fear Mowbray suffers from the Gary Bowyer syndrome of not going for it enough.

    I'll judge him when he starts being played as a striker - at the moment I blame Mowbray who signed a striker and plays him as a winger.

    It seems like the latest trend is for people to make 'back up' accounts to cause trouble with. It's causing problems for the mods and problems on the board. Therefore, from this point forward, if the mod team can link two accounts together (believe it or not, theres more than just IPs to do this with, so using a VPN doesn't mean you are invisible) we'll issue to the same bans across all linked accounts.
