Sounds like he's more of a deep playmaker than a tackler according to Burton fans. Points towards 3-5-2 if you ask me.

It's the same thing. Wage budget, renewal budget, transfer budget, all out the same pot. When has anyone ever come out and said we have a Xm renewals budget?
-
There isn't such thing as a "transfer budget", there's a budget for contract renewals, agent fees, transfer fees and wages. That is 18m, 10m higher than last year (so I've been told). Which is why there are target lists A, B and C. If you allocate a large section of the budget for one player on the A list you'll have to look at players on the C list for other position. Worth remembering not many transfers are paid up front, so if we sign a 1million pound player on a 4 year deal in most cases that 1m would be split up over 4 years, in some form, e.g. 400k, 300k, 250k, 150k.
-
Whole spend for 2018/19 season. Renewals of Conway and Graham probably take out 1m. Rothwell probably around 750k? That's 8.25m left for the season.
-
Circa 8m operating budget in League 1. Circa 18m in the Championship. Or so I've been told. If true, don't worry, the signings will come. We will see within the next 2 or 3 weeks.
-
Football clubs don't work with specific "transfer budgets"... they have yearly club budgets which cover all expenses including agents, wages etc. If we only sign players on 5k a week we will have money spare for transfers, alternatively we could get a load of frees on 20k a week.

Inverted wingers play on the wing but instead of running down the line they move inside and play almost number 10. See Arjen Robben.
-
Nope, if Rothwell is anything to go by nobody's getting the right info either!
-
I heard the total budget for transfers, agents, contract renews and wages this year is 10m more than last year. Contract renewals of Conway and Graham mean we have 8.8 left before Rothwell.

Good player. Under 23 so will have to pay something - agreed it upfront rather than compo.

Supporters Consultation Meeting - Thursday 21st June

I don't anyone feels they 'are entitled' to know... but I can understand why people feel they 'need to know'. Many people think the club has been run poorly in the past and can evidence this with the numerous management structures that have been in place under Venkys. I don't think its a lot following this to ask for reassurances on how the club is run now. Clearly people have this feeling and a decent PR company would advise transparency after years of chaos followed by one year of success. Theres an opportunity to explain how things have changed. -

CR7 has got some bollocks.

Well done, although googling is cheating!

Real isn't right!

Should they have representation in this year's final, two club teams could break the record for having players in 10 consecutive world cup finals. Name the teams. If you get the teams, bonus points for every player named going back to 1982.

Hopefully the new and updated thread title puts this all to rest, once and for all. Cue somebody discussing a link on the other thread.
