  1. They split the club into 3. They want CEO to run the Administration side of the club, Pasha to run the commercial side of the club and Gestede to run the football operations side of the club.
  2. The story first broke by Greame Bailey to Wrexham Insider 3 hours ago https://www.thewrexhaminsider.com/transfer-news/wrexham-now-interested-in-3m-phenomenal-midfielder-from-championship-rivals/ Nixon reported his story at 21.16.
  3. That is where yet again Mike you are misinterpret my comments. Mike, like I said different people have different commitments and different situations. I have been very open and honest that Rovers is my main social activity and that I can make every home game without other commitments getting in the way of my attending games at Ewood Park
  4. very true but it was win. Confidence is high at the minute and we need to just carry this on
  5. We have always develop our own players and we should carry this on for the future. Yes I question you over your comments about academy players because you are very quick to point out their negatives and what they didn't do which is always your focus in my opinion. We see when the season how much our academy players play but I don't what is wrong with have 3 players who one is very highly rated and chased by big PL clubs and 2 players who played last season show their worth for me.
  6. Surely that depends on which club he signs for? You assume it will be better club than us. You assume we haven't him a decent enough wage package. Depends what he wants and it's sound like he wants a PL move which I don't see happening for him
  7. That he has set a specific target for minutes has he? I posted what he said in the interview with Jackson from the LT
  8. I dont see that as set target but we want to see our Academy players play more when they are ready. I have named 3 young players I want to see in our first team squad this season. Plus I want to see Michalski as third choice
  9. Steven Croft as head coach has turned Lancashire's fortunes around. 3 wins from 3 in T20 blast
  10. Where has Gestede said its the target? He has said we would like to go back to producing our own players from own academy Rovers will also look to sign younger players and maximise their Academy, to build sellable assets. That was part of the discussion when appointing Valerien Ismael and a value Blackburn want to return to. "You have to rely on the Academy also, Adam Wharton is an example. He is a rare one but you can do business with the Academy with player-trading," he explained. "What we have seen in the last year, the minutes played by our Academy players has dropped drastically. We used to be over 2,000 minutes for Under-23 Academy players. Last 12 months, 142 minutes. "That affects the value of the asset and we want to go back to that model. That was part of the discussions with Valerien. They have to be part of your squad planning. "We will also go in the market for young players. Instead of one-year deals for players at a certain age, you go younger and buy the assets. You don't have to buy an asset for Β£5million, it can be a lower fee with more resale value. That's an exciting time going into the summer. We have to refresh the squad with loans and players out of contract. Now is the right time. "We want to develop players, give a platform for Academy players to shine and attract young players to be on the pitch for Blackburn."
  11. That's your opinion not a fact. Dolan staying here where he would be key players and first team regular I think would be his best move. Lets see where he ends up
  12. We have category 1 academy and sometimes we won't produce quality in some years but should that stop us trying really, of course not. We invested in our Academy and we should be producing players for our first team.
  13. Nothing clash family or friends event with me attending Rovers matches for a long time. Just wish some people would actually accept that and move on
  14. Like I said previously, each person has their own commitments and what they are. Some of the above do happen and some of them don't in my life but don't affect my ability to attend Rovers matches. Rovers is my main social activity these days and it's been that way for many years now as I have said many times on here
  15. The way you posted it's like you knew what we offered and it's was poor offer. Clearly you don't. His interview recently suggests he thinks he can get a move to PL club. Abit too ambitious, I think his best move would be to stay here and being a key player for our team. I think he move aboard or to a club like Norwich or Ipswich will be his next move
  16. No-one has said we should be over reliant on Academy players but some of us reckon that some players like Tyjon, Duru and Montgomery should be part of the first team squad. Tyjon is highly rated that we big clubs want him, Duru I think he should have been Brittain's back up last season not JRC who isnt a right back in million years. Montgomery impressed his appearances and I want to see him play more. Bringing through 2 or 3 academy players every season should be the aim of our Academy given its a cat 1 Academy. Why shouldnt that be the aim for us? If they are good enough, they are old enough. No one has set any targets for young players. He's get plenty right. He reported clubs interested in this or that player, yet some people misinterpreted that for he is signing here. People don't read the story right. Like someone said Tyjon is off to Arsenal based on Nicko's article which isn't what Nicko reported. He reported Arsenal interest in Tyjon and Arsenal are willing to offer Β£1m plus bonuses for him.
  17. Guys, I judged them on what they actually do as owners of the club and NOT outside influences of them owning and running a football club properly. Newcastle owners have done a very good job as owners of that club since they bought it. That's all they should be judged on!
  18. do you think PSG or Newcastle fans really care about what is going on in those countries really? I wouldn't if I was supporter of those clubs
  19. Yes I know. Teams know we are good at developing young players and clubs are now targeting us for this very reasons, but we have good track record at bringing through our own players and we should carry this on why shouldn't we been bringing through our own players from our academy?
  20. GB's comments from September 2023 on Dolan's contract latest Gregg Broughton reveals latest on Dolan contract talks | Lancashire Telegraph do you know what we offered in wages in the contract talks or not? its a simple question, care to answer it please?
  21. wrong again RF99 But sadly my focus is on the ownership of their clubs not what is going on their own country whatever that might be. That's is focus for supporters of their clubs and rightly so, not none football matters
  22. wrong again RF99 but carrying on posting your lies. Nights games means I get 3 hours less sleep before I go to work on a night shift but it is my choice to work nights and to attend Rovers games. Its my decision so I owned my decision. I take it from your comments you have never worked night shifts in your working life? is this correct RF99?
  23. do you know what wage GB offer him or just more speculation from you? given the number of contracts he got Players to sign suggested the wage offered was rubbish from yourself is wide of the mark. Maybe Dolan decide 2 years he wanted to test the water and have a choice of clubs he wants
  24. Its wasn't but my point I was making is more than relevant to this thread. Nicko is a source of info. That's it. Don't live on every word either just for the record either.
  25. I mean the ones being linked with moves to big clubs.
