Yes we have, He is good squad player, Eustace trusted him, he has experience, team player, has been part of our unbeaten 6 games and us being 5th in the league Eustace picked the best team for the Luton game which would play the way he wants tactical and formation wise -

Yes we the entire messageboard knows your views on Hedges, you don't rate and you don't want his contract renewing but some of us actually rated him and think he is good squad player and I would offer him a 2 year contract extension. Eustace likes him and he has played him in every game this season which suggests that he rated him. JDT was similar. -

I agree 100% completely. I remember with great memories about Blackburn Rovers doing a 4 day summer football training camp during the my time at Peel Park Primary School in Accrington. it was around 1995 Deffo we should be engaging in different areas like Hyndburn or Chorley or Ribble Valley. -

We won't agree on Hedges. I rated him. Good player for me. You won't agree. -

Success on the pitch has played a massive part, plus when the game and a team they are enjoying watching So what Rovers be doing? Handling leaflets out there, engage in schools, advertise on local buses? -

Hedges is a good squad player and someone who Eustace trusted. He has been every presence this season. We can't offer a 2 year contract extension as a squad player. So what is your problem with him? JDT and Eustace clearly always rated him. -
I dont get that appointment if it made

He is a good squad player, experience, and someone Eustace trusted. He is someone who I want to keep as I said few weeks ago to yourself and my opinion hasn't changed. Your opinion was very different and hasn't change so why don't we just simply agree to disagree -
Yet again, you lack of understanding that Director of Football is picking the head coach based on what they and the owner want. It's their choice. Martin will never change style. That's the way he plays. He wouldnt change at Swansea or MK Dons. That's his way

I see him as important squad player. He has played in every game this season. You don't. We will never agree here. -
A successful team on the pitch is the biggest factor and this season we seen this. Fans are enjoying the season, the football on show, the bond between Eustace, Players and the fans is great to see. So can I asked 2 questions 1. Are you currently STH and where you happy with the price you paid? 2. What price would you charge for the Adult season ticket next season?
-
Eustace has shown why he is good coach and very good man manager. He and his staff have well organised and well drilled the team tactical and you see that every game. The fan based really like him and the bond between him, the players and the fans is great to see

The lack of understanding here is quite surprised here. Why don't you understand that the Director of Football is selecting the head coach based on what they want as a club whether its bringing through Youth or certain playing style. Then it's down to head coach to get the results. For example GB picked JDT for the Rovers head coach cos of his playing style and he will bring through youth. Same as Southampton picked Russell Martin as their head coach cos they wanted to played that style and selected him based on that he played that style. Southampton wanted to play the pep style after the PL relegation and picked Martin to play this way. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6000531/2024/12/17/russell-martin-inside-southampton-sacking?source=user-shared-article

No surprised by your reaction. I think its a good move. Eustace rated him and he has played in every league game this season. A new 2 year contract I think would be good in my opinion -

Hedges offered new contract https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24801559.blackburn-rovers-set-intentions-ryan-hedges-deal/ -
Rovers strategy changed when GB role changed(before he left) last January, then JDT left, Waggott appointed Eustace who was his choice, reported by Elliott Jackson On Eustace style of play, has he said himself he is adaptable to each game but being defensively solid is one of key priorities. You know yourself we played good football at times but don't take the risks we did under JDT

So what affordable to everyone realistically and what can the club realistically afford to sell them at? I still think get them on sale early is one of the key. Especially when there is good feel factor around the club, team doing well. League position good, etc. Also Marketing the ST, I would willing to deliver leaflets for the club in local areas.
-
Wrong. As @KentExileexplained the director of football will pick a head coach who suits what the club philosophy and ethos whether its bringing through young players or playing a certain way or keeping a team.
-
So I take it you didn't renew cos of the price being expensive? Secondly I didnt missed the point but it's about getting that under 16 age group involved in Rovers from an early way, attending games, wearing a Rovers shirt, being proud to be Rovers fans, etc. That's our next generation of fans and we need to be bringing more in and with their parents or family members. On Adult prices, we are roughly in the same figures around £249-299 mark for ST, but I would suggest Rovers need to get them on sale early around March/early April cos at the minute there is feel good factor around the club, the fans, the players and Eustace. Rovers need to capitalise on this and I would suggest put them on sale after Christmas or January.

Head coach is there to wins games. That's what he been appoint for

Good luck Gary. Hope he does well there. Did a good job here and I will be remember -
I'm explained to yourself and you are more than acknowledge about how football clubs are run and the changing role of the manager to what is effective head coach role now I leave it there now

I take it you aren't a parent or family member to has taken a child under 12 to Rovers this season. I have seen my nephew come this season and throughly enjoyed himself and got involved in the chanting and shouting the team on this season
