  1. Dolan playing the right wing, Hedges on the left
  2. They start cos Eustace rated them and they are playing well. You don't agree
  3. The new tv deals was £625 million pounds and reduced ticket prices revenue by £1m http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/blackburn_rovers/6410297.stm https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/4510423.blackburn-rovers-verge-breaking-season-tickets-sales-record/ Also a number 2 factors also were a Rovers chairman and board that understood the Fan base. Secondly we were very competitive in the PL, in UEFA cup and cup competitions. They were the very best time to be Rovers fans. The 90's and 00's. Memories no one can ever take away. John Williams's son Simon Williams was the head of commercial and Marketing department. Rovers should be looking at bring Simon Williams back to the club or someone with similar experience and expertise. Also when we were sold, TV revenue was only going up and up especially overseas TV revenue
  4. Who would you have like see start? ACD was never going to start this game
  5. It's their director of football at Plymouth Neil Dewship was behind their move for Rooney move
  6. Surprised he lasted that long there. Strange choice in the first place.
  7. they had to be sold by Sheffield United for financial reasons
  8. Yes they did but you had PL TV money would helped lower their prices so much. I would see a drop to £299 for BBE adult tickets next season but you will never see under these owners or possible new owners those prices. The half season tickets this season are OTT and I don't see many moving.
  9. he is on his way to Middlesbrough
  10. Ok thanks for the reply, I think for next season for BBE price for adults of £299 would be right price but I don't think we will see it. I expect a similar price or back to £379-399 price next season I don't like the phase thing and would prefer one price until the first game, but other incentivises to get us to buy early with discount of home shirt for example or get them on sale early in April. They will justify through higher energy bills, cost of the running the club, etc, etc.
  11. I hadn't heard of the manager they appoint but I think sacking Rosenior was massive mistake. Yes they lost key players but they also spent £30 million pounds. Millar was a good signing(one I wish we had made) and its a shame he got season ended injury. If I was Hull owner I would remove the current Hull head coach and bring in a new head coach
  12. I agree with you Simon. Sacking Rosenior was a mistake Surely Rosenior deserved another season and yes they invested big last season. This season they loss a few quality players but they also reinvest the money on new players to £30m like Liam Millar, Charlie Hughes and Ryan Giles, etc. I was surprised by their choice to replace Rosenior, wasn't you?
  13. Is that the last time you had a ST Mike?
  14. I dont think they have been sussed out at but the injury to Rodri is a massive loss for City. Some of City players are badly out of form. Also last night, City pressed the self destruction button. They were comfortable at 3 nil until Gvardiol's mistake. Pep will rejuvenate this squad in January and the summer with signings at centre back, centre midfielder, attacking midfielders and back up striker
  15. Yes I have just read the statement and I think its sort of the right approach and Rovers serious need to look at the price of the half season ticket(which is ridiculous tbh). I think the price of this season ticket was good for young children and I think the Adult price was £50 pound too high but I also think they should have kept the same price all summer. until September. The lack of media advert or advertising it around Blackburn/Darwen area is a problem, What email? I meant the poster sending the WATR chairman/site an email instead of posting on here. I haven't receive an Email for the WATR since start of October with the newsletter. I get they will be work going on in the background that we aren't aware off. on next season ticket price, we need to adult price to £299 for BBE and Lower Jack Walker stand. I agree that the Riverside stand need reduced. Maybe to £199 tbh. Jack Walker upper wings to £349 and central £379. Dropped the phase thing and just have one price all summer. I would like to see them on sale from start of April.
  16. That was announcement made by the club regarding ST prices which is major announcement in the Rovers fans world hence why he was around. Why not just send them an email or fill this form in Have your say | We Are THE Rovers
  17. I have said repeatably that the commercial operations at Ewood isn't good enough. The lack of sponsorship around the club is pathetic and I have called this out previously. Waggott has said that Pasha has taken over the commercial operation of the club now. Rovers owners should have appoint a CEO with commercial and footballing background as CEO but they haven't. The communication to the fans need to be much better also. ❚❚ Searched for 'commercial ' in Topics
  18. wasn't it the EFL that said they need to appoint one given we went 12 months without one when Shaw and Myers left the club during the Lambert reign? Then Cheston was running the clubs for ages Wont Pasha just take over and moved for his role as Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer? It should happen but it won't cos the owners won't allow them to run the club for them and They want to run the club from India and everything need them to authorise it before it can happen. Plenty of good experience Football and commercial sense CEO out there who we should look at but won't
