  1. I think Peacock-Farrell would be better 1st choice for you. Pope has one year left on his contract and for me he is England 3rd best keeper behind Pickford and Ramsdale for me. Yes normally pre season games are schedule by now and normally line up weeks ago. Yes very different to us. Jon Dahl Tomasson has received his first part of his work permit and that's why he was unveiled last week. Kompany's work permit took nearly a month to get. Jon Dahl Tomasson has explained in full detail why he keep Lowe, Johnson and Benson on staff but he has brought in 2 of his own coaches which we announced last week. Ben Rosen has been working this week with the players. Disagree we are behind on signings, blimey a few clubs have signed a couple of players but we don't need many signings it is hardly behind on signings, Plus you don't even know who we even wanted. Been linked with Todd Cantwell who I can see myself happening. The club has released full details when our 3 kits will be released. what more do you want. they have fully communicate this to the fans
  2. Luton has made 2 good sensible signings this week with a third on the way. Woodrow and Doughty being them Preston have signed Keeper Woodman who I think is a very good signing there. Stoke have signed Laurent who I think a good solid player
  3. Rovers are one of these clubs Norwich City eye Sorinola as Williams replacement if they can beat three Championship suitors (teamtalk.com) Rovers was interested in Jake Clarke-Salter before he signed for QPR Jake Clarke-Salter set to join QPR on free transfer after leaving Chelsea following two appearances in 14 years | The Sun
  4. so you do watch any TV shows on TV at all?
  5. It looks like a mess there and I seen a pic on twitter that Craig Bellamy has joined them as a coach from the look of the pic
  6. I'm not so sure on that. John Park has now left and so it will be Gregg Broughton will take over the recruitment team now until we appoint a new head of recruitment in my opinion
  7. only just bring in more money just of season tickets cost. But agree on the income from food and drink.
  8. I think that's fair price tbh. Are Hennessey and Peacock-Farrell good enough keepers for Championship? What you take on this? are you surprise by this?
  9. I think they are myself. Tom Sutton posted this on his LinkedIn profile 21 hours ago
  10. Prices of certain items in the club shop need to be reduce buts I would suggest prices and quality of food and drinks in the concourse and outside need to be review. Its poor quality and over priced for it I would suggest the appointments of Gregg Broughton and Jon Dahl Tomasson appointments have created a buzz around the club.
  11. Broughton has bought in 2 more scouts/recruitment people aswell in. Tom Sutton from Oxford and Karl Newton from Stockport. Staff departure confirmed at Ewood Park as Gregg Broughton confirms two additions - LancsLive Tom Sutton | LinkedIn Karl Newton | LinkedIn
  12. I've seen those players links with you. Twine is a number 10 type. Good quality player. Hull want him aswell. I can see Pope going to Forest or Fulham tbh.
  13. I don't see Rovers paying one player at 30k or something but keeping it sensible New head coach here now who will play a striker up front. Lets see from now. Plus the head coach is a striker So I am sure he can teach the strikers a thing or 2. Gallagher give a solid performance as a number 9 striker. A former Rovers striker Danny Graham praised his performance at Boro away. His performance at PNE was good, but he is striker so play him there. Lets see what Gallagher and to be honest the entire team under Jon Dahl Tomasson. Gallagher will be challenging Brereton if he stays or a new striker and Jack Vale. I think he can get behind 12 to 15 goals a season if he plays all season as a striker
  14. Gregg Broughton said same wage budget as last season but healthy budget for transfers
  15. Well he has been wasted out wide for 3 years under Mowbray. Mowbray has to take full responsibility for wasting him out wide. When he plays up front like Boro away or Preston away he score goals. I said we need a new striker if Ben Brereton Diaz leaves otherwise for me we don't. I'm looking forward to seeing Sam Gallagher under Jon Dahl Tomasson's reign who will play up front Exactly. No wonder Gallagher had a big smile on his face when JDT shake his hand
  16. What was sales last season compare to the Prince trust sponsor shirt?
  17. Based on seeing the players live over the last 3 years including the under 18's and 23's. Before you say you can't judge on that. I said Travis was good enough for the 1st team when he performing excellent for the under 23's. That was in our promotion season from league 1 You keep saying he struggled at Halifax so how do you know that? Or is it based on number of goals scored there?
  18. If he plays up front he will score goals. Hopefully we see the end of him playing wide like he did under Mowbray I feel we need a new striker if Brereton leaves. If Brereton stays then we have 3 strikers of good enough quality.
  19. Is he leaving for 40 million?. It's sound like squad overhaul there for Kompany.
  20. Surely we need to increase the income not decrease it?
  21. and what sponsor would allow Rovers to sell sponsor less shirts?
  22. No surprised you assume that. Vale should be given game time here not loan out again. He is more than good enough to be part of this squad. That is based on what I have seen of him in the last 3 seasons. I would have like to see him part of the squad last season myself shame they not be granted but Ben Rosen has taken some of the training. I'm sure JDT will have outlined what he wants to do with the training this week
  23. Looks like Collins is off to Wolves by some media reports today. I think they will struggle in the coming season under Kompany.
