I'm still hoping that Rovers appoint Carlos Carvalhal as our next head coach and we know he has at least been interviewed by Waggott and Pasha. He fits the type of head coach I want to see here. Good coach and tactical aware, bring through youth and knows this league well. Also appears he wants to come to the club. On Farke and him being Venkys first choice to come. If this was the case and he wanted to come here, surely he would be appoint by now and been unveil by the club but nothing has happened so why not! Plus Waggott and Pasha wouldn't be interviewing 8 candidates either. On the Ferguson link, He is experience coach who have worked under some very good managers like Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benitez at Everton. He was have loads on contacts within the game. He wouldn't be my overall first choice but I don't think he would be the worst choice and could be success here. I am open minded on him. On Critchley and Manning suggestions on here. Both have background in youth development and goo coach. Would be decent choices but deserve to be interview in my opinion. Are Rovers willing to pay compensation for Critchley cos he has 4 years left on his contract Barnsley, QPR and Burnley searches have been similar length to our search for our next head coach appointment

Has anyone seen the new Top Gun Maverick Movie? going to watch this afternoon at the cinema

I used several different posters comments/sources to back my point up. You are obsess with only one person Local Merseyside reporter is reported different. Not at all, If he is the best choice out of the 8 people we have interested then appoint him. All depends who these people are pushing him to Waggott and Pasha Why not be open mind?. It could be poor appointment or it could be good appointment. Farke hasn't achieved anything before he was appoint Norwich head coach and look at what he delivered. Maybe Ferguson will the same or not. Only time will tell. Not interested in other clubs pitch work. I'm bothered about Rovers pitch and it being as good as possible for the new season. You might not be interest in the new season kits but some of us are and when they are on sale. Still part of the Rovers club

Firstly, I fully understand and know how betting and odds works. Well you have seen posted from @Bbrovers2288, @Mercer on here plus I have seen a number of people posted he has been interviewed as I posted earlier today. On his appointment or most appointment I will have open mind on them and lets see what they do in the Rovers dugout. I have no idea what type of formation, style of play or what his coaching is like. well if you look at what 1864 has posted about it seems like they has been major investment in the pitch and lighting. I would say targeting all areas of the community is very good and needs to be continue and investing in. Lets see what the ST sales are for the coming season and I will comment on then

Yes we have seen progress on the pitch but last season Mowbray's stubborn and lack of willingness to adapt and change his tactics and formation cost us our playoff place. Plus he has more backing from the owners on signings, time and patience to achieved this in one of the his 4 years in charge of us since our league 1 promotion. Also we were 2nd when the January transfer closed and we still didn't make the playoffs. As you have posted this week, Rovers are installing a new weaved pitch, proper communication from the club on when the coming season kits will be available for sale. Then over the season we seen the good work the Rovers community trust have done in bringing young children and parents to games who normally wouldn't come.

I have stated my view on this and I can't be anymore clearly than I have been. Beale is staying at Villa now. Wrong, I used Mercer posts plus a number of other people posts on here and other sites to posted about Ferguson. well clearly people are betting on him for a reason. Maybe its what people read on forums or social media but maybe its someone with inside info from the club. I don't know if it will be terrible appointment or not but I am willing to have an open mind on it. I think there is worst appointment out there we could make. He could be the next Mark Hughes but equalling he could be then next Brian Kidd.

Thanks the report here -
I agree that any new appointment is a risk. What was Kompany's style of play and formation there? It will be interesting to see who they appoint to this position. I think you might look towards the Belgium and Dutch market under him.

not seen the game at all apart from some of final minutes of the game. was it a good game? Forest deserved to win? -
Yes I think we should relax as we have to 2 weeks before the players. So I hope and think Rovers will make an appointment this week for head coach position here. That would give the head coach a week or so to sort out pre season training, sort the coaching staff out. Then we sort out the Sporting Director role we need plenty of new players? do we? we need about 6 new players. That isn't alot. Well clearly Rovers wanted to speak to him just like QPR did but after talks he wants to stay at Villa which is his won decision. why does that matter? Waggott and Rovers have decided to interview several different candidates and will appoint the person who fits the best man for the head coach job here. Another championship club in QPR are doing the same. Yes Watford have made a quick appointment and didn't do it in the proper correct process.

Very good grand prix. Shame that Russell, Norris and Hamilton couldn't finish higher up tbh. But good win for Perez

I'm not sure Kompany will be such a push over as you suggest but I am sure he will use his Manchester City links to sign 2 or 3 loan players. Maybe even a coach or two from their academy/under 23's. On Cornet and Weghorst signings, I have seen reports that suggested their owners/new scouting model was behind the signings.
-
I would like to see players Jack Vale, Hayden Carter and Jake Garrett be part of our squad for the coming season. Yes we need around 6 signings this summer to our Squad I think Rovers and Waggott have done it right by interviewing several different candidates and hopefully this week we can select the right candidate now. It was several different people within all fairness all fair points

Firstly, take a step here, Its Mercer's comments about Duncan Ferguson plus the comments from @Bbrovers2288in several posts about Duncan Ferguson here ❚❚ Searched for 'Ferguson ' in All Content (brfcs.com) plus also when I was talking to Alan Myers a couple of weeks he answered any questions but the Duncan Ferguson. Also add to that other people posted on other media sites and platforms. Its clear he has been interviewed at very least. @Buttytake a close look at why I think Mercer might be correct On Duncan Ferguson and Michael Beale, Yes they are novice in terms of being head coaches/managers but they have been coaches for a number of years. Duncan Ferguson has worked under David Moyes, Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez so will have gain alot of information and knowledge from them. Michael Beale has worked at Liverpool and Chelsea under Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti while he was academy coach at either club plus he has been Steven Gerrard's assistant at 2 football clubs. Steven Gerrard's comments are endorsing of his ability as a coach in the Lancs Live article I think it's a huge risk to appoint a first time head coach like Michael Beale or Duncan Ferguson personally. I'm not against it totally given their coaching background but I would still have concerns over it. I still think Carlo Carvalhal would be the right appointment given his background and experience. @Paul ManiI agree that Rovers are conducting proper interview process and speaking to potential candidates making sure we get the right appointment that fits the club footballing strategy going forward.
