What type of game are you expecting today Spurs and do you think Mike Jackson will change tactics from 4-4-2 to maybe 4-5-1?

Middlesbrough linked with Lenihan this morning -
The last appointment was over 5 years ago in Mowbray No media reports on Manning coming here and they only media reports is linking with QPR. Steve Cooper is no longer with this agency as I posted before that his agent is CAA Base LTD. How can you write it off already before any appointments are made to either role.
-
Not at all. I would think he would join straight away and his contract would just end there early. Where have we linked with Liam Manning? Not sure on Neilson. What are his strengths and weaknesses? Why would he be good fit here given his first spell in the EFL was good enough? Why? Who says they are use?

Just watching the Ayrton Senna documentary on Sky Documentary and its a great watch and inside one of the best F1 driver ever in the sport

So Lancashire need 12 wickets tomorrow against Yorkshire to win the game. Unlikely but who knows. Root's batting was very good and from an England view point its good that he is scoring runs. He will be one of crucial parts of England team under Ben Stokes's captaincy. I am also looking forward to seeing how Brenden McCullum does and how his working Partnership with Ben Stokes works and how well they worked together. It will be interesting to see the squad we pick for the first test and how the team will play under Stokes and McCallum I am looking very forward to the first test now and I am off work so able to watch it.

I think Mowbray wanted the club to be grateful for the job but he failed in his main job which was promotion and after 4 years of trying and this season blowing our best chance cos of him he had to go. The owners seems not to want to offer him and wanted to wait until the end of the season. I think him and his agent expect to be offer a new contract around Christmas but they weren't one. Also I think the fans turning on him during the Stoke Game upset him but as Waggott said his comments were wrong in Fans forum meeting. I think there is a plan and we will now go through the interview process. Rovers want a sporting Director and head coach. We are both in totally agreement on the structure we want. I do think this structure rules out people like Gareth Ainsworth or Chris Hughton but I think its the right structure to move forward with. Yes I agree we need someone who is experience in sporting director role.

I think we shouldn't renew either of their contracts for next season. I have been abit disappointed by Davenport not having a more of an impact in the 4 years but too many injuries. He needs to go somewhere and play regular football. On Butterworth, he needs regular football at league 1 or 2 level cos he has talent but playing a few minutes won't help him. On Fleetwood spell he played out of position or on bench cos they only played 1 up front. -
If the LT is correct and we are looking for Sporting Director and Head coach structure then I don't see Ainsworth accepting that Head Coach role and I think he will likely stay at Wycombe. I will throw another name into the mix is Former Watford head coach Xisco Muñoz who contract at Spanish club SD Huesca is up at the end of June. He did well at Watford and they were 13th in PL when Watford sacked him.
-
You thought that Mowbray was staying despite him saying he was off. The Sporting Director role is needed and many clubs even at Championship clubs are now employing them Its over 5 years since we actually seen a footballing appointment to the club. Lets hope they have learnt about how football works. Would you been happy with Daniel Farke or Carlos Carvalhal as our next head coach? Yes I agree with this
-
Its been over 5 years since their last appointment so hopefully in those years they have learnt and better understand football and how it works. each to they own, but I remember seeing Coyle odds on favourite for few days and I dismiss it then. I have placed several bets on different possible replacement. Glen, Are you still positive and confident that Farke will be incoming?
-
Joe Root makes an hundred today for Yorkshire vs Lancashire. Harry Brook is out 41 bowled by Matt Parkinson. Hopefully both will be in the England test squad in a couple of weeks
-
I can see your point here. I would favour an experience head coach coming in. Farke, Carvalhal and Wagner being 3 candidates we should be looking at for that role. Plus an experience DoF like Stuart Webber or Nicky Hammond would be ideal. Maybe informal interviews have taken already who knows with their agents to find out what demands and terms are already with certain candidates Well I do have plenty of hope on 2 good appointments being made

I wouldn't discount Leeds just yet. Why? Cos you think it's dead rubber for them.

England were 'blown away' by 'impressive' Brendon McCullum interview, says Andrew Strauss (msn.com)
