  1. I would show more respect for the country footballing structure and get on with my job of coaching the club I was in charge of Why didn't Tuchel and Rangnick say get rid of the Champions League group games and make it a knockout tournament like it used to be and was far more better to watch and these pointless International breaks and reduce the games played by international teams?
  2. We have to disagree cos I don't think we have a options for back 3 given injuries, make up the playing squad, too many midfielders and no proper left wing back option either
  3. Rovers activate a club option in Rothwell's contract by 12 months last summer http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19343280.blackburn-rovers-contract-decisions-becoming-pressing/
  4. Lets scrap the Champions League and Europa league group stages then. Thats would saved 5 games a season. Or these pointless international breaks games.
  5. thanks @4000 HOLESfor becoming member of the site and posting yours views. I am very passionate Rovers fan who doesn't sing at all but shouts, encourages, clap and applaud the players on the pitch. I don't enjoy singing as I rather to friends about the game, and Rovers related stuff. Been a season ticket for over 20 years now and I loved going to Rovers games and during the Pandemic I totally missed attending games and it affected me badly. Did you see the comments I posted from Travis who said this season atmosphere has been the best since he been in the first team? The 90's atmosphere was very good from what I can remember and I started going in 93/94 season I think the atmosphere through the Mark Hughes;s era was excellent. But under Ince and Allardyce time at the club the atmosphere wasn't the same. I would have no problem having a standing area for fans who want to stand up for the game.
  6. West Brom lack creatively and quality striker. Their current style doesn't suit their players like Diangana, Robinson or Grant. Plus they don;t create much from open play.
  7. But I wouldn't comment but just get on with coaching the team. I would accept their footballing structure And I stand by that comment. They know how our footballing structure is and they either get on with their job or don't accept the in the first place
  8. But he has had the technique for years and he had success at County level. That's the problem and the quality of the standard. You can't blame Farbrace for his technique I remember listening to interview with Duncan Fletcher and how he selected Trescothick and Vaughan based on their technique and how they would succeed at Test Cricket where someone like Adams didn't have the technique for the test game. In the England Coaching set up you have Graham Thorpe, Marcus Trescothink, Paul Collingwood. So you have players who have had success in the top level of the cricket game.
  9. The Premier League is the best football league in the world and most enjoyable to watch. Other leagues don't have our quality and entertainment. I totally agree on the Champions league and if I had my way I would completely restructure it where it would be knockout football straight way so less games. Maybe go back to the pre champions league days where it only Champions of the league in that with UEFA Cup and cup winner cup back into play. The Champions League is only about money for the big European teams and UEFA governing body I wouldn't go to German football and start moaning about their footballing structure and way the competitions are structure over there.
  10. Wharton and Ayala were injured for most of the season. Carter went on loan at Burton where he played very well there. Not sure playing possession has anything to do with it to be quite frank. Think last season we had too many players and far too many midfield options. This season Mowbray has less options and less tinkering from him Think we suited the back 3 this season cos Wharton can play the left side of the 3, with Van Hecke or Ayala in the middle of the 3 with Lenihan on right which suited all of them. Plus the left back situation where Pickering and Edun have played so wide this season.
  11. thankyou for the reply. I believe that Harness has a clause in his contract at Portsmouth that allow them to extend his contract by 12 months. similar to us with Rothwell. thankyou for the reply and the player analysis on him. Watched the video posted so thanks for that @JacknOry
  12. I think its new from Venkys
  13. How can change that technique when he has scored loads of runs at County Cricket which has scored plenty of runs at that level? Same with Crawley and Burns.
  14. I am. I heard Tuchel this morning moaning and complaining about the schedule and injuries, and I thought if you don't like it or can't work with the schedule then quit and move back to Germany but you wouldn't do that cos of managing Chelsea and the wages you are on. Chelsea have a huge squad plus a good under 23's team so stop complaining and get it with it. Rangnick annoyed me about moaning about our 2 Cup competitions. Yet again, you know the English game and why we have them so if you don't like it don't accept the Manchester United job
  15. Very true. I am pleased we didn't sign him. Russell Martin has gone public over his attitude.
  16. Did we have the back 3 to play 3 at the back last season? or the left wing back spot? can I please why you are fan of Harness and Twine and what are his strengths and weaknesses as I have seen very little of them live? Also I can please ask have you seen much of Scully at Lincoln?
  17. great incentive by the owners to the players to go an get the top 2 spots. Not sure these are normal promotion bonus and clauses in their contracts.
  18. I haven't watched any of the Ashes on live TV cos I refused to pay BT Sport prices. But I watched clips online and read the reports plus what Sky Sports cricket experts are saying. I will say that we can continue to blame Root and Sliverwood for this series performances but for the last 5/6 years the real problem is County Championship season. It is played on poor pitches, wrong time of year played and far too emphasise on one day and twenty20 cricket plus this hundred game. Until the ECB and director of cricket Ashley Giles change this we will not bring through enough quality players including top order batsmen. On Root being captain, I don't see natural replacement and it has to be someone who place is very guarantee to play like Stokes or Anderson. Would you play him just for his batting? How about Ben Foakes as the test wicketkeeper? here is a few genuine questions 1. Would people agree that ECB and Giles need to put Test Matches as the priority now? should Giles be sack if he won't? 2. would people replace Root and if so who with? 3. Would people replace Sliverwood and if so who with? 4. Would you bring back the Chief selector role and should we return having chief selector with 2 assistants?

  20. Have Rovers been linked to re-signing Adam Armstrong now in the next window?
  21. I wonder what changes Wilder will make in the transfer window. I expect a striker and centre back signings from them
