v Blackpool (h) - 9/4/22chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Disappointed by the results and performances by some players today. We started well and Gallagher took his goal well enough. He played good today in the main striker role and that's is where he should be playing all of the time. Rovers had a great chance by Brereton with a header from corner but he headed over the bar. Blackpool were a constant threat all game and went close in the first half with a shot from a corner and Hamilton should have scored a one on one with Kaminski. But was happy overall with going in 1 nil up at half time. Second half Rovers were slow and conceded a goal from a corner. Rovers never really got going second half and actually created very little. Dack did scored and its looked onside to me given he roll his man to score past the keeper. Will look forward to seeing a replay on that. But as the game went on I felt Rovers weren't never going to win the game and would concede another but didn't. Didn't like Mowbray starting formation and think it time to drop it and go 4-2-3-1 formation. But when Buckley and Dack came on we went to another one of Mowbray's Weird formation of 2 wide strikers and 2 number 10's. It never going to work and didn't. I would have took off Rothwell and Nyambe for Buckley and Dack. Keep Gallagher in the main striker role and Dack as 10. Buckley as centre midfielder. He seems to have no faith in Giles or Hedges in being able to win games or impact on games. 2 wasted January signings. Also felt that far too many players were poor performance wise like Nyambe, Wharton(first half), Rothwell, Pickering, Dolan. I also feel that Mowbray is going through the motions and he knows he is leaving Rovers next month whatever happens IMO. My last point its was a great to see the reception Mr Blackburn Tony Parkes got off the fans of both clubs and we should always remember him as a Rovers club legend.

So who runs the club, appoint the next manager, etc and etc? Well the transition from Coyle to Mowbray was quick and smooth and took 2 days didn't it? worrying time that Park's contract will run out this summer and I would imagine that Mark Venus, Ben Benson and David Lowe contracts will all be up at the same time as Mowbray. Its almost seem like Mowbray has a club line up and the his team will leave with him Good Its was odd that we never appoint Glyn Chamberlain as head of recruitment given his background and we never renew his contract last summer. We have currently about 5 or 6 Rovers scouts and a couple of recruitment data analysis according to what I can find online.

Good news for club and the future of our academy. Producing our own players is vital for the future of club and we keep investing in the academy. I was surprised by these rumours cos the academy cat 1 stats has always been maintained. over the Venkys years Thanks for that summary. Also do you see Adam Wharton breaking into the first team next season or season after? What was you impress by his game in the game today?

Premier League season 21/22chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard How many times do players under Ferguson, Pep and Klopp ever bottled it as much as Everton players are this season? Their performance this season has been pathetic tbh and There has been only 1 shining light for them and that has been Anthony Gordon.

v Blackpool (h) - 9/4/22chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Not a worrying team at all but a balance team and players playing in their right positions. Its time to drop the back 3 formation cos it hasn't worked for a number of games now and we aren't keeping clean sheets or scoring goals. We have much better with back 4 in recent games like Derby and Coventry games Bowler plays on the right wing so will be up against Pickering not Brown.

That's a question for the summer and we will see after the season ends but looking at Mowbray's comments, I think he is leaving the club this summer so you would hope Waggott has a shortlist to present their owners for approval to approach and appoint a new manager/head coach. Not used that certain agency When I done a search its yourself who posted the info, so if you can point me to this post where I said this please well that is what I meant. Like I have already said that the club cannot and should not stand still in terms of recruitment or looking and scouting players for the summer and next season. John Park has lots of experience in terms of recruitment and we will be using his experience.

Premier League season 21/22chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Well our opinions are very different on this and I still stand by my comments Don't you play on Sunday at 2 pm on Sky Sports? The players this season have failed to stand up under 2 managers and don't haver the bottle for the relegation fight. Even yesterday game shown they were only a couple of players up for the fight. Still think Everton will get out of it and it reminds me of when Everton got out of relegation on the last day of the season in 93/94 season

v Coventry City (a) - 2/4/22chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Yes Forest probably well but teams around the top 6 are playing each other meaning teams will take points off each other

v Blackpool (h) - 9/4/22chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Looking at Mowbray's pre match comments today that Lenihan, Nyambe and Khadra are likely to not be fit for this game. So my team would be this Kaminski Brown Van Hecke Wharton Pickering Travis Rothwell Dolan Buckley Brereton Gallagher

v Coventry City (a) - 2/4/22chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard who says they would have won their games if they had already played them. You assuming they would have won them which you can't sorry to hear it

sadly the football club doesn't stand still whoever the manager is in terms of recruitment. The recruitment team still have jobs to do and we shouldn't stop scouting, talking to players's agents or coming on with different lists of players. Well Miller we disagree on your last sentence and I think Mowbray should be given the season. On the whether we have a new manager for next season, who knows. We have to see after the season has ended what we do regarding this issue. My point was moving away from Blackburn Rovers and trying a new club whether its local to Manchester or maybe not Its was yourself who posted this info as I proven time after time. Its was you who posted this info. Here the link to your post. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/33765-summer-transfer-window-2019/?do=findComment&comment=1960681 Like I said to you in March I am fully aware of all the above. same argument again from you but I have heard that he andn his missus want to move back down south I am also aware of Nyambe's background thanks but have you ever thought he might to move to different club and try something new. You aren't interested in wage structure and FFP when its suits you. sadly this is reality of running a football club even tho the club should be doing more to increase non match day revenue, attract more fans and have more activities going on whether its on a match day or non match day

We have a recruitment team who would have scouted loads and loads of players. Also should the club stand still over recruitment over whether Mowbray stays or not? Are Manchester United or Watford standing still over the potential doubt over who the manager will be for next season? Plus it who the next manager is worth their salt would be interesting by that work and work with the recruitment team in place. the club is planning for next season regardless whether Mowbray stays or not. What happens if we appoint John Park as Director of football then appoint first team head coach not a manager?

Premier League season 21/22chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard You are far too judgemental and so quick to judge. Below average? you are massive downplaying his 18 months at Chelsea where for most of that They were in Transfer embargo. They finish in the top 4 so that was good achievement while bringing through players like Mount and James into becoming key Chelsea players Ali has only been for 2 months and was short of fitness before he join, so why be judgemental on it. Tell to judge is not season. You keep saying that he wouldn't have got the job had he not enjoyed the playing career that he did but you can't come up with any alternative name who they should have appointed or seem to forget that The Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright wanted him as well as the fans wanted him

The focus is on this season and tbh next season squad problems and evaluate can wait until the summer for. Its all about getting a playoff place that it. We are still in the playoff picture even after this bad run. So I still wouldn't have sack him and tbh I think we would have been crazy to do so. So I don't see it any opportunity missed at all on your point the new manager is starting from a standing start, well that's isn't correct cos the recruitment team have still be doing their work in the background and will have a different list for each position as we heard Mowbray confirm last week. Plus a new manager will be already without Nyambe and Rothwell cos they want to leave and move away from the area. Reason why they haven't sign a new contract
