Rothwell did a good defensive job in midfield with Travis Bowyer signed Brown the season before we signed Delfouneso in the summer. Then Lambert replaced Bowyer and got rid of both and Rhodes. Replaced them with Graham, Watt and Jackson.

You aren't pointing out all angles at all. The fixtures list is the fixtures list. I see this team and squad having a better team spirit and togetherness than I see in previous seasons. We have settle back 4 at the minute with them looking very good. Also I see Mowbray having to coach this young squad instead of managing the squad last season. I witnessed him talking to Dolan and Rothwell instead as they went down the tunnel. Never seen that before Disagree on the squad is paper thin. We lack a quality striker and if we had sign Lowe or Maja or Healey. Defensively we look strong and plenty of options.. plenty of centre midfield options. Kaminski is solid as rock I don't see us getting relegation with the current squad at all. Thought that in the summer and still believe that. If we finish mid table this season I would be happy with that tbh. Predict mid table finish before the start of the season. I don't see plenty of better teams out there. I see 4 or 5 quality teams in the teams then around 12 or 13 teams of similar quality which I think we are one of. then 6 or 7 teams that will be bottom of the 6 in this league

Firstly, John Challis was a comedian legend and will be missed by everyone. RIP John Secondly, Only Fools and Horses is and always be the best TV comedy show ever. I can't think of any current TV comedy that comes close to matching it. I have been watching episodes of Only fools and Horses including this morning on Gold.

I watched Mowbray yesterday as he was walking down the tunnel at half time talking to Dolan about his position on the pitch and at full time him and Rothwell was talking as they go down the tunnel. Not seen that before. I think him having a younger squad has rejuvenate him as a manager where he has to coach them more than manage them.

Buckley was very good in defensive role and kept his position well. Kept their wing backs quiet. I'm attaching sense. Quiet but Rovers overall didn't create as much I like to see. Poveda has just come back from injury so yes he was poor yesterday but I'm sure his form will pick up when he gains his fitness. Not sure on Clarkson role and what it should be but he should have won us the game. Still learning about Championship football is about. Still 38 games to go and both will play a part going forward. Both teams lacked quality in the final game. We have 2 great chances and they had 3 very good chances. Lenihan and Ayala kept Woodrow very quiet today. I'm big fan of Dolan and Buckley. Thought he was very good defensive Buckley today. If Brereton final ball had been better 1st half then Dolan would have had a tap up.

I am very happy we are 6th in the league currently. Bournemouth now top of the league now. Parker doing the business there Some surprising results, Reading beating Fulham, Blackpool beating Boro, Preston drawing with WBA. Well done to Interim head coach Steven Reid winning today with Forest. Mowbray has had a budget to spend each season and including this one. Yes the wage bill has been cut and We sold our star striker but that has to been done for a few seasons including FFP rules to meet, bring through younger players and rebuild the squad. There is always a chance of promotion Gav, if you don't want to believe fine but I see a team that is together and strong team spirit. Yes we might lack a quality striker but we can sign one in January. Now I not saying we will make top 6 but I not writing off our chances yet Gav. The Rovers fans were excellent today. We created a great atmosphere there, Their fans were very quiet Clarkson push up when we want to close down there but then drop into the 10 role. I'm not convince what Clarkson's role within the team should be at the minute. I would have left Dolan on with his pace or bring on Butterworth instead of Clarkson.
