  1. 9th to 16th. Like I said before I would have like a change of manager and footballing structure at the club. Mowbray should have got us up within the 3 year plan and after last season backing deffo should have been top 6. He has been financially backed over those seasons and falling to get a top 6 should have seen a change. But Balaji has decide he stays in the job for this season. For me, we now at the start(year 1) of 3 year cycle with FFP rules and funding. With is being close to breaking FFP rules this summer, We need a proper football and recruitment strategy in place now and clear transfer policy in place. What is going to happen with Mowbray after this season? will he stay or leave? How and who do we replace him with? The fact we have so many key players out of contract this coming summer is a massive issue and one the we need to tied Brereton, Travis, Lenihan, Rothwell to new contracts. Don't see Nyambe re-signing here.
  2. thanks for the reply Well lets hope we the club and this group reveal the plan going forward. I would hope darrenrover would update the board but I fully understand that might and most likely not viable at this stage
  3. What we need a proper recruitment strategy where we sign young players(under 24) for low fees, Bring through our good enough academy players and sign the odd the experience player. Would you get behind this strategy? But the club need to have a strategy in place from here going forward regarding whoever is in the manager seat. I would say Lenihan and Brereton will re-sign. Plus Rothwell. We must offer new terms to Travis. I think we lose Nyambe for nothing in Summer 2022 or cheap fee in January. Could never backed against my team I have supported all my life.
  4. For me, Mowbray look more focus then the previous 2 seasons(almost like the Promotion season focus for me) and will the young squad we got he has coach them and manage them. Yes it will be long hard season but I did feel that the squad can achieve mid table finish(with a couple of January additions) and have a good season. We appears more solid defensive and have a plan A and B which I think last season we lack badly. Plus we need to use the counter attacking tactics and play Gallagher up front in 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation.
  5. Thanks for the update Rev. Is this group the DarrenRover group that was on here before posting? Do you not think it was Balaji who stop it? After investing money into the academy structure since becoming owners and its possibly more vital than ever that we need the academy going forward in terms of first team squad and need to keep producing these players. Why would they get rid of it?
  6. Think you will find that Mowbray is only part of the transfer committee who decide who we target and sign.
  7. I believe the striker from France was Rhys Healey.. Who is doing the messing around and why?
  8. Very annoyed and frustrated by the lack of permanent striker signing not being signed and spending 500k on 23 years old left back. This should have not been allow to happen. Rovers transfer team and committee are to blame here for the lack of the permanent striker today. Questions need to be ask of the transfer committee and who is blame ultimately for the lack of striker. It could cost us if Gallagher and Brereton got injured at the same time. I do feel with this squad and if we play to our strengths like being solid defensively playing on the counter we can achieved a mid table finish. Wonder if Waggott blocked some of Mowbray transfer targets today or ignore his suggestions and went with the transfer committee targets instead. Wonder if Mowbray would win over this. Mowbray and Waggott you mean? No one is asking for loads of money but a permanent striker for a couple of million pounds or less. Plenty of different options out there. All fans will have they own suggestions who we should have sign. Going forward I hope Rovers are better plan and organise for the next transfer windows. I have no problem with that model as long as you stick to him and have proper transfer, recruitment and scouting strategy in place to bring in the right players
  9. was said on the Rovers Chat transfer special by Andy Watson on there
  10. Playing a different style, Being more solid defensively, using our pacey wingers to their strengths. We are grinding out results and appear to be more solid.
  11. Joe, just for the record, I am not blaming Burke for Rovers not signing a permanent striker in this window. For that I am blaming the Rovers management at the club and the Transfer committee we have that decide who we target as signings and the transfer strategy in this window. Now if we sign Burke on loan along as permanent striker then I would have been delighted. I heard yourself on the Rovers chat transfer deadline special and the question you asked Ryan and Agree with your answers for how we moved forward as a club, which is through smart thought out signings for low cost, free signings and keep bringing through our academy players. Going forward, I think Rovers have to been solid defensive and play on the counter with our players. I think we have a decent squad and I think we will finish a mid table this season. Gallagher must play as the main number 9 striker from now on
  12. Joe, Can you please why you think this? and Surely a permanent striker should have been the priority
  13. Well aren't all 5 on the Rovers transfer committee on who decide on we sign
  14. Well you he is in the room when we decide who to target meeting isn't he?
  15. What a goalscorer we sign ☹️😂
  16. I'm annoyed tonight with this lack of permanent striker signing. Pathetic from Rovers. Signing a striker in this window should have been number 1 priority
  17. Burke isn't a striker I don't see the point in signing the Brighton winger and now maybe Burke. How many none number 9 strikers do we need? sigh☹️
  18. Crooke and Sharpe have said no chance of Maja. Off to WBA
  19. Don't want excuses from the club, Mowbray and Waggott. We have months to plan for a replacement for Armstrong. Not signing one permanent striker in this window is no short of pathetic
  20. So far disappointed we haven't got a striker in yet
  21. We signed a Dutch centre back. Plus Carter and Wharton backing up Lenihan and Ayala
