All reasonable points put forward eloquently. Which begs the question why has chaddy put up a laughing emoji?

WBA VS ROVERS - SAT 27TH
LDRover replied to Dreams of 1995's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not read much on Conway's performance on this thread. For what it's worth I thought he was excellent in work rate and keeping the ball although his delivery from wide areas was poor at times. I questioned his new contract when it was given but based on yesterday he definitely still has a part to play. -
WBA VS ROVERS - SAT 27TH

To be honest the only thing the game was missing was a bloke in a basque. -
Came away from today's game thinking if ever there is a year to get out of this division this is it. If we're in the mix in January the owners must invest, we're a centre half and centre forward away from being real contenders in my opinion.
-
Fabulous player. Head and shoulders above everyone else today and if there's a chance to buy him it should be top of the priority list in January.

The thing is Chaddy, if you go back and read the rest of the partially quoted post, you were ridiculing another poster's contribution. Classic case of giving but not taking.

I know we've no alternative to DG but surely we're not at this stage

A complete lack of closing down for both goals. Really really poor. -
I always found it quite disturbing that around 5000 grown men would chant to see a bloke's arse - maybe it raised more than a laugh with some?
-
A few boos in the first half but they soon turned to cheers when he characteristically started spraying the ball out of play.
-
Yeah, you can usually see something in a player that gives you hope. I've seen nothing from him, he's almost Grabbiesque. Very worrying.
-
Brereton looks like he doesn't fancy it to me

We're doing well to stay in this game

Cracking idea Chaddy. We could save some money and close another stand.

Derby vs Rovers post match thread

I'm going all in on Nuttall and Leutweiler -
Not blowing my own trumpet here but I'd sussed Grabbi out within 15 minutes of his debut at Derby.
-
Thanks to all but they've decided to sack it and go to Bolton instead
-
Does anyone know of any organised travel to Stoke on Saturday? My son and 3 of his mates want to go but will want to set off just after 12 as they're all playing in the morning.

Completely agree on all points Den. I thought Armstrong last year was just about at his level, I don't think he can cut it in the Championship and this is currently being borne out.

Rovers v Villa - 15th September 2018

Yes i know what you're saying but, if played in his supposed best position, he'd be replacing Graham. Based on what I've seen of him do far in regard to movement, strength and workrate he'd be a very poor substitute for him. -

Hope I'm wrong on this but I think we've been sold a pup in Brereton. Movement was poor, ball retention poor and was lacking in pace and strength. Got to hope he improves..and fast. -
The lad Harvey Barnes is a real talent
