Maybe I’m old fashioned but I don’t see a problem with a manager telling a player he’s not going to be an automatic choice , If the likes of Bauer and McLoughlin only want to go to teams we’re they are comfortable and not under any pressure to perform so be it , I would rather have players with a determination to get into 1st team and then strive to stay there

Or at least it would have been he as excelled during Dacks absence , if the season had continued I could quite easily have seen him score another 5-6 goals A young English striker who scores goals and has pace to burn PL clubs drool over them he could easily have left this summer for 15-20m to a Southampton or a West Ham type club

Think I would put John Filan in as GK , Zurab definately , Nicky Marker was another who would never get the headlines but never let us down Wilcox and Atkins got a bit of stick off rovers fans at times but were instrumental in our glory years I suppose it's how you define underrated .. Underrated by who ? rovers fans or the greater public because Imo it's was an absolute disgrace Mike Newell never played for England but WE would never suggest he's underrated

Didn't go to the game but remember the build up , there was obviously a lot of eyes on us after breaking the transfer record on Alan Shearer but I think the only other new starter was Stuart Ripley that day , imagine a team now getting promoted to PL via play offs and only buying 2 players !! .The opening game at Palace also brought back some heat breaking memories especially what took place there a few seasons earlier . I listened on the radio , watched highlights on MOTD and thought we should have won , that season Bobby Mimms ended up with most clean sheets of any other GK , so we learnt defensively so much after that Game

First of all cancel the euros , secondly abandon this years FA Cup and next years league cup I know the sponsors will be in uproar but will have to take it in the chin in my view we have to complete this season even if we have to re-start it in June July or whenever and play 2 games per week to complete it take a 4 week break and restart the season again

He could spot a player too along with Hendry he brought Mark Atkins from lower levels obscurity , brought David May and Jason Wilcox into the first team and saw something in Howard Gayle that most clubs and managers couldn't , Scott Sellars and Chris Price bloomed under his stewardship and he also manage to convince Archibald and Ardiles to come to Blackburn (although I heard Jacks money helped a fair bit there as well)

I agree Swansea will cause more of a goal threat than Stoke and will probably have more of the ball , Nyambe will move to C/b and Bennett in at R/b is what I am expecting It would be a huge shock if Mowbray selects Mulgrew I would love to think Rovers could win but realistically we are looking another another draw 1-1

Depends on fee wages etc ... I don't actually think he's a bad keeper , is he an improvement on Raya ..No .. Does he 100% fill me with confidence at corners and set pieces ..No do I think there is better out there we could get ..yes , but I think he's a good shot stopper he's good with his feet and Imo I feel he's improved a lot since the start of the season some saves he has made recently have been outstanding

Not one single Rovers fan would disagree with this ..... I just hope there's a Rovers fan at the club with the power to do it though?

I'd add the Korean lad released by Newcastle and Seabastian Prodl (sp) ex Watford defender too to that list
