  1. Everyone has been poor from an attacking point of view For a bit of balance on Buckley Going through our squad. He has won the ball back the most times in the final third out of our squad. He has created the most chances this season. He is 2nd when it comes to assists. His standards have dropped as have everyone else's maybe he should be dropped out for a bit but a similar case can be made for Rothwell to be dropped as since January his performance levels have gone down too.
  2. Crap like Rothwell and the rest of the frontline
  3. Bournemouth have been scabbing wins and have very tough run in when you compare it with ours.I don't think Its a gimme they will get second. Granted we have to start showing form and we have to start putting the chances we do create away but still with a defence that doesn't concede a lot of goals you have a chance to pick up points. Better than previous seasons when it was needing us to score twice to pick up a point in a lot of matches
  4. Well no I don't think we certainly will get 2nd place. We are 4 points behind to a team who has played 2 less games than us. But if it isn't to be Bournemouth (who have been scabbing wins and have a really hard run in) then no other team is really standing out Boro been on a good run but lost at Bristol the weekend.Losing Brererton a massive loss but our frequently fixtures are kind following Fulham. I would place that bet no question on us finishing in the top 6 though
  5. Those teams still have to play eachother though.Compare our fixtures to the others...take Sheffield United and QPR they still have to play against eachother twice. QPR ain't playing great(agreed we ain't either) but with home advantage I expect us to pick up a win at home on Saturday. If we beat QPR I do not see them finishing ahead of us with what they have left to play compared to ourselves.
  6. Who is then? Nobody has made that second spot their own yet and we are 3rd on merit nobody even with games in hand can overtake us in 3rd spot. Yeah we are out of form and have dropped the standards a little but if we get through the next 3 games picking up some points then I'd rather have our remaining fixtures than the other teams.Only Bournemouth home and Stoke(being generous) home out of the teams you would feel will be in and around the top 6. Up until Swansea no team in the division had a better record against bottom half teams than ourselves.
  7. It will be better for the club longer term him playing week in week out. He hasn't shown enough to be confident he could step in he was 5th/6th choice and wasn't making the bench. My point about the managers decision is he clearly doesn't see Carter as his 5th choice centre back this season to have loaned him out.And yes I think he would have s better idea than any of us considering Carter played once or twice at CB this season. If he wasn't 5th choice no point in him being kept around. Can you show me where I said other people's opinions didn't matter?Or where I said we couldn't disagree with the managers decision? You are debating something with me I never said. In MY opinion it would have been the wrong decision keeping him around.Like I disagree that Davenport was kept around.
  8. In my opinion Mowbray would play Johnson centre half wasn't saying it is what I would do. It was the right decision to let him leave on loan you don't stifle 2 younger players developments by keeping Carter on the off chance he might be needed. Carter looked like he had improved when he did play but in his last start when he played CB he was poor and looked out of his depth. To the people that mattered..the player the manager a loan move was the right option and I agree with it.
  9. Maja who is injured now? Stoke took the risk on him and he scored a couple but he was out injured again at the weekend. He had played less than 45 mins all season due to his injuries prior to signing for Stoke. We asked Brighton about Connolly and we made an offer for Forrs who wanted more of a guarantee of playing time. We shouldn't be offering any sort of guarantees for players of that Ilk.
  10. Still sitting on the bench twiddling his thumbs would have done nothing to improve him and if an injury to a centre half Mowbray most likely would have either put Nyambe in a right sided centre back or brought Johnson on. We are reaping the benefits of Wharton's time away and if still in this division next season then Carter will have a much chance if making an impact at this level by playing week in week out and learning from his mistakes at another club
  11. We are talking about a lot of things needing to happen for Carter to play. We would need 2 centre halves to be out and Nyambe/Zeefuik/JRC/Brown. Carter looked better after his loan last season but still not what's required for a side chasing promotion. He wasn't even making the squad most weeks, it would have been short term thinking keeping him around and little chance he improves by going back to playing u-23 football every week
  12. Better long term to loan him out. He wouldn't have played.Keeping him would have stifled 2 players development.Carter would have been playing under 23 football and the under 18 playing u 23 football would have been on the bench for use or back with the 18s. When needs must Nyambe can fill in there and he did a fine job v West Brom.

  14. Millwall manager and Ceo both felt the pitch was playable. Their CEO has publicly said he didn't agree with the refs decision. Christ some people just can't wait to stick the boot into the club.
  15. As good a season as Huddersfield are having I don't think they will be in the playoffs at season end. Then again I did think they would struggle this season so what do I know
  16. You never know but it's better they have something to play for as long as possible, they won't win/go up by beating us but when it comes to playing some of the other teams in the playoffs and Bournemouth in April it would be better if they still needed points to clinch the title/promotion
  17. Be a shame if that's the case, if Dack somehow got back to being fit and showing his typical standard and Khadra could show some of his better form it would be one of the better front lines in the championship
  18. Even though we didn't sign him Forss playing his part in our promotion push. If QPR lose this a win next week would be massive
  19. Surely the sensible decision by the ref would have been to delay the kick off time? If the players and managers were happy with it but the ref had doubts he should have given it a bit more time instead of both clubs and their fans having to rearrange their time to make the game whenever the fixture now takes place
  20. Why not delay the game? The weather was improving. For Waggott to come out and say they felt the game should have gone ahead the pitch can't have been any worse than it was V Preston?Even Huddersfield
  21. But a lot think the pitch was playable. The ref is in the wrong here. Why not delay the game? The weather was improving
  22. Boro losing.Sheffield United 2 up Stoke losing.Maja out injured
