  1. Given the magnitude of this game for us and the fact Bristol have nothing to play for, this has to rank as one of the worst results and performances in the past decade.
  2. Penalty now. Embarrassing. Get rid of the lot of them.
  3. Completely deserved. We have to be careful it's not 4 or 5 as goal difference is vital. We've been pathetic. Not laid a glove on them.
  4. We struggle against anyway as we're not very good. The only teams we have beaten this year are Stoke and Sunderland who are both mid to lower teams.
  5. We never look like scoring in most games. Toothless.
  6. Zero points tonight and there's no chance of us getting anything at the weekend. We're most likely going to be one game off the relegation places going into our final 3 fixtures. And they are incredibly tough fixtures. What a huge mess up tonight. A massive loss.
  7. This has been abysmal. Not a chance we're getting 2 goals here.
  8. This game couldn't be going much worse. A huge game and we've lost within the first 30 mins. Brum will beat Cardiff I suspect. We've blown it tonight against a team who has nothing to play for.
  9. Game over. We're back in big trouble.
  10. Shocker from Hyam. Tough game now as we never look like scoring.
  11. Bristol are up for this game unfortunately
  12. Big games down at the bottom tonight. Feel like Birmingham have to win otherwise they are in big trouble with tough games to come (well apart from Rotherham of course). I'd like to see them go down.
  13. A huge, huge game. Win and we are effectively safe and can put this horrible season behind us. Lose and it's going to be a very edgy end to the season with some tough fixtures. A draw and we move a little closer to safety but still have a nervous end to the season. Sounds like Bristol City have a defensive injury crisis tonight so will have to shuffle things around. A big chance for us.
  14. A good set of results for us overall tonight. Not perfect but pretty good with only Millwall picking up 3 points. A win tomorrow and we're pretty much safe.
  15. This is a huge game. If we win then we're pretty much safe. If we lose and results go against us then we are back in big trouble with 4 games left and Leeds, Leicester and Coventry to play. If we play like we have been then we are more than capable of winning this one as Bristol have very little to play for. They're such an unpredictable team though that will be tough to get a result against if they are at it. I don't rate Preston at all so it wouldn't shock me if Hudds beat them. Sheff W are a very plucky team so, again, I wouldn't be shocked if they got a result against Norwich. Brum simply have to beat Cardiff at home and I think they will. Millwall and Plymouth should lose though. I still think Plymouth will go down despite their win the other day. Then it's anyone's guess really. Plymouth, Hudds, Brum, Millwall look faves at the moment to join Rotherham. Still too close for comfort for my liking. Let's get this season over ASAP.
  16. Huge point. One more win should do it now. Two of the bottom 3 winning doesn't help but its in our own hands and there's no doubt we've improved massively and look like a team who may not need to rely on others doing us favours anymore.
  17. I actually think we could get something from this game, possibly even a win. Winning so comprehensively in our last game will mean the players will be feeling very confident, and with our best front 4 players all playing again it means we have far more attacking threat now. Saints don't have a lot to play for as they're firmly in the play offs. Armstrong will score though!
  18. That stat is no surprise this season. Bringing on the likes of Markanday, Moran, Garrett, Telalovic et al means you are relying on league 1/2 players to see the game out.
  19. Still buzzing after the win yesterday. How bad are Sunderland though. They are my dark horses for relegation next season. They are following the same blueprint as us - slash the wage budget, sell your experienced players and rely on youth. Their best player, Clarke, will leave in the summer and they'll employ a yes man in the dug out, all of which spells disaster. They're being run into the ground by their owners. We know the feeling all too well.
  20. Foster is style over substance, much like a lot of managers, including our previous one! They hadn't scored a goal at home for 5 matches. He deserved the sack. Appointing your Director of Football as interim manager is something that even Venkys haven't done (yet!).
  21. Plymouth confirm they have sacked their manager...and that their Director of Football and First Team Coach will be in charge for the rest of the season. Putting a director of football in temporary charge feels like a relegation decision to me. I feared they may appoint someone like Warnock which would have given them a chance. I feel they are now the faves for thr drop alongside Sheff W. Rotherham obviously went a long time ago.
  22. I agree, we're not safe but things are looking a lot better than they did before todays games. 4 points will be enough to keep us up and if we keep those front 4 fit and JRC then we have a good chance. Plymouth lost a very winnable home game today and time is running out for them. They lack the experience and nous at this level - they do have Rotherham next though and will surely change their manager. I think Millwall losing today and Stoke drawing were also very significant results. I don't think either will go down but we do need them to stay in the mix so that they are fully up for the games they have against Plymouth and Hudds.
