Our best managers are always the ones who know how to organise a team and win ugly. Big Sam, Hughes, Souness. JDT - this is an utter mess and completely embarrassing. He's got no idea how to set a team up defensively.

It is Owen Coyle football. No defensive shape at all. It's embarrassing to watch. Let's see where we are in 5 games but I do feel this type of football will see us finish bottom 6.

I disagree. Preston and Ipswich don't have great players either. The tactics are shocking. Who else is conceding 3+ goals every week?

Getting very concerned about JDT and his tactics. They're fine in the Swedish league where you are up against part timers most weeks, but it's not good enough for this league.

Garbage. I certainly don't find suicidal football where we're conceding multiple goals per game exciting. Have Leicester even broken sweat? They've scored 2 and could have had another too. Ipswich and Preston have shown that if you do the basics well then you can do well with a bang average squad. We on the other hand are now at 9 goals conceded in 2.5 games.

Knife through butter every week. Really like JDT but he's gotta get the basics right before trying to implement all this fancy football.

Today is the day to go all out attack as they're such a good team who will score goals. I actually think we may get a result today as I feel we're better when the opposition has more of the ball.

How much clearer can the club make it? They say it every year. It's not a secret.

It's been clear for many years that the ambition, if you can call it that, is to develop young players and sell them on for a profit. The goal is not to get promotion, that would be just be a bonus. You can see that in the recruitment this summer, they're all players that need developing for different reasons and therefore were unlikely to hit the ground running. Why the owners want to stick around when they are losing £20m a year to achieve nothing is beyond belief.

From the very early signs, it looks like we may have upgraded on Diaz/Dack with Siggy/Moran. Both are very good players. It's a shame we weren't able to sign Siggy on a longer deal as he'll be in demand next summer with the way he's started here. If we can get Siggy, Ennis, Moran, Szmodics playing regularly as our front four then we will do well and score lots of goals. Markanday is also starting to look like a half decent player, which maybe isn't a surprise given he was very highly rated at Spurs. Got a way to go before he can start games though.

Losing £20m a year just to tread water in the championship. Pretty much every other club is the same though so this is more about the state of football than the running of the club. When we sell Wharton next summer, the majority of that will go towards ensuring we are FFP compliant.

One glance at Twitter and you see how far we've fallen. Ipswich fans reassuring us that we'll stay up this season. Yes, Ipswich, a league one side last year, reassuring us that we'll be OK. They don't have better players than us but they do have a better coach who sets his team up far better than ours does. You're not telling me a team that has Hirst up front has better players than us. Ipswich have also shown how a new owner can breathe new life into a club very quickly. They were going nowhere as a club and then suddenly transformed by the new owners into premier league contenders in two years. Sadly our owners are going nowhere and they never will unfortunately.

7 goals conceded in the space of a few days. Not one of them where the opposition was made to work for them. JDT has enough credit in the bank but this is shocking football. I know many will say it's great football because it's very attacking, but we will concede 3 or 4 every match playing this way. Leicester will absolutely destroy us next weekend. I don't think we'll go down this season but we're looking at the bottom 8 from what Ive seen so far. The structure and organisation of the team is the worst in the league and the options we have on the bench are woeful.

Tactics all wrong again, as they have been all season. We're not Man City so let's stop trying to play like them. Fed up of being easy to play against.

Surprise surprise. Another goal conceded. 3 or 4 more today I reckon. Something wrong with the way we're being set up.

This will be the common theme of the season. Another one incoming today. I'll be shocked if we don't lose by 2 or 3 goals. It's Leeds under Bielsa but with not an ounce of their attacking quality.

I think we'll get thrashed 3-1 or 4-1. Ipswich will be far too street wise for us. We're very easy to play against - soak up the pressure, nick the ball back or wait for a misplaced pass, then you have a free run at our defence. Rinse and repeat until you score. Very exciting to watch but no structure or organisation. Recipe for disaster.

Blackburn are the best team we’ve played this season by some distance IMO. We’ve had to work very hard for this lead. #safc #rovers We'll see this type of quote a lot this season. Opposition fans and managers will be very complimentary about us... yet many will beat us comfortably. I don't like us being the nice side that everyone likes to watch but are really easy to score and create chances against. Every time we've lost the ball in the final third in the last few games, the opposition has a free run at our defence, who are left horribly exposed. Our two best managers in the past 20 years - Hughes and Allardyce - both started by making us solid and hard to beat, and then adding the magic from there. The new signings have had zero impact so far which is also a problem. We're relying on the likes of Dolan and Markanday to make a difference, both are miles off it. Telalovic looked miles off the required level when he came on against Boro too, he couldn't even run. But hopefully he'll come good. On the positive side, I do think a front line of Siggy, Ennis, Szmodics, and Moran is top 6 potential. Can we get them all on the same pitch on a regular basis?

And there it is, a defeat to Tony Mowbray. This "PlayStation football" has to be re-considered. We're going to concede 2-3 every week playing this way. Not sure why JDT has decided to start going all out attack when we don't have very good attackers.
