I don't get why you don't see my point ---its pretty clear. If ordinary fans can see obvious problems and solutions why can't the manager? For example if you'd put the idea to Rovers supporters of playing Johnson as a false 9 (hate that poncey term by the way) you'd have struggled to find one who thought it worth a try or who didn't roll around the floor laughing to be honest.

Dack won't be fully match-fit when the season ends and "a few weeks time" for Diaz means he'll play little part in the run in. These were precisely my point. But you knew that and you're arguing for the sake of it.

Another strength is to run himself into the ground and never give up, and not to feel sorry for himself even though he's playing in a position he can't cope with. He was never worth the £5M we paid for him but Mowbray has largely negated what value he came with. He has, after all played more Premier League games for Southampton than Armstrong who went for £20M!

Gallagher is not a useless player but Mowbray makes him one.

I've said many times that Gallagher should either play central striker or he shouldn't be in the side at all. Mowbray's insistence , for years now, into making him into something he can't be has sent him backwards and cost us points. Can we end this stupid tinkering right now?
