But while the owners and senior management don't change, the team can't carry on regardless can they? Example---we lost 12 players last summer, we signed 6---some on loan. Example--we have several players out of contract (or soon will be) and this has been allowed to run on and on. Your attempt to distinguish between the club and the team is disingenuous. Oh yes I do know that. My response is to the above post from Spartakfenni which has Venkys selling the academy to build a new one and giving the profits to the Club. Unless the new academy is a tin shed on a carpark I'm struggling to see where this immense profit lies. Apologies, I thought you were part of this conversation!

What I hope is that we at last bring some passion and pride back to our Cup crusade for once. For a club with a proud FA Cup record like our's, the years under Mowbray have been pitiful. No resting our key players, let's take our League form into the Cup campaign, go as far as we can. Take on a Premier league team and judge how competitive we are. Oh-----and earn some dosh along the way.

If so, there is an historic bridge across the Thames in the centre of London which I own.
