Anybody who didn't play Gallagher on the wing would do me, that's how desperate I am.

Nobody defending him on here either is there?

TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021
47er replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We need somebody to stand up in the middle of that defence. The cock-up between them which led to the Wednesday goal was laughable. You'd think they had never met. -
More likely---"would you change if opinions on social media changed?"
-
For anyone who said "let's see where we are at Christmas", well, we are where we always are, 11th, same points as Preston who had a dreadful transfer window by common consent and whom we were laughing at a few months ago when they gave us Dolan. Nothing to play for except avoiding any further slide. If you can't beat teams in the relegation zone at home and you can't beat anyone above you, with a squad everyone was delighted and optimistic about, there is only one conclusion---Mowbray Out!
-
There's a connection between club and supporters at Accrington that we have lost. Getting harder to win new supporters round in that area as well I'd imagine.

Is he uninformed or pretending to be? I think KHod has it right.

Stoke City v Rovers (a) Sat. 19th Dec. 3pm

I agree with this. Why did so many fans bend over backwards to find good in Brereton but almost no-one minds writing off Gallagher. To be consistent we should be postponing judgement until he's had a good run in the centre. No wonder if his confidence is shot playing out wide possibly for the only time in his life. I watched him a few times for Southampton and thought he wasn't Premier League but he'd be alright for us as he was when he came on loan. One feature no-one can deny---he works so hard for the team every game, never gives up. Something there for a good manager to build on. -
Nah. Taking the piss----Claret or Nobender. Don't bite!
-
"We will never prosper with Venkys" that's the sad truth and the whole truth. A good manager would see us prosper for a while though and we need a lift.

In two minds here-----talented beyond belief as a youngster, but left us at a terrible time, never fulfilled his potential at Manure, eternally injured and we have enough of them. Would be interested to see how it worked out but can't warm to it somehow. Think he'll want Premier league anyway. -

From memory Bull stuck with Wolves even though he was picked for England and in the 2nd division. You don't see that now either. -
garbage.
-
Or he's simply "nutty"!
-
If we shouldn't sack TM because Venkys would hire someone worse then we are finished as a club for as far ahead as anyone can see. On that basis, If TM keeps going till he's 90 and dies in harness then Venkys will appoint someone worse for the 500 still attending.

I was there too. At the end of the game Danny Blanchflower lined his players up in a guard of honour and clapped us off. It didn't happen at Crystal Palace yesterday! -
Aussies so hard to beat at home.

We lost to a team above us again. We didn't drop Armstrong and play Chapman did we? But we lost to a team above us-----again! Where are we going in your view? Nowhere in mine. -

To us regularly but we don't apparently learn anything. Still, if you're happy..... -
69% of possession away from home! 15 shots on target to their 3! BUT---no goals and no points. Deja vu, dog day afternoon----all the cliches yet again! Once again he talks of the opposition being "very well organised" without any sense of irony at all. Clearly we are going to spend the rest of the season battering down the castle gates in vain while those inside slip out by a back door. We will never be promoted under this manager who, with his vast experience as a player, still hasn't grasped the basics as a manager----at club after club. Beside myself with frustration, must have lie-down!
