  1. Could be a Rovers fan who's done it for all we know. I haven't seen any of it other than his avatar on here. So presumably this site is being attacked? I can't imagine Chaddy chose it.
  2. Yes. We've all to our views about Chaddy but none of us would wish that on him. I suppose on reflection one of us might, which is a disturbing thought. more likely to be someone on Twitter. Chin up Chaddy, we know that's not you!
  3. Agreed with all you say but that!
  4. Cannot understand what's going on with Nyambe unless he's told TM he's definitely leaving at the end of his contract and we'll get noting for him. Even then I'd still play him, he's got an incentive to play well and get the best deal he can. Why ruin JRC who is not a full-back? Sick of Mowbray making it so complicated when its a simple game.
  5. To think we were worried he'd be transferred to Sheffield Utd!!
  6. The way we are playing is like Roy Hodgson all over again.
  7. Bell? We've been screaming to get a replacement for him for months! As for Douglas, the guy was ever-present in Leeds promotipn season. Serious questions need to be asked if he suddenly becomes a stiff.
  8. The one remit we regarded as vital for TM in the summer was to sort out the defence!
  9. They only beat Wycombe 1-0 and that was their only shot on target of the game so you could be right.
  10. Yes, can't disagree with any of that, but a few people go along to football and vent, or they are drunk. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to blame Rovers fans in general for. I think we've been very kind to him.
  11. Well he has been a useless donkey for most of his time here hasn't he? I've written "waste of money" several times and "we're starting with 10 men" but that's on here and I assume he's not reading it. What's the problem?
  12. You said: "just because you don't hear any Brereton abuse at the ground doesn't mean it doesn't exist...I have heard it myself from the people sitting behind me many many times " That implies a higher degree of abuse than you're saying now. You've back-tracked. A minority it is, we can all agree on that.
  13. You always get some idiot everywhere. I can remember one bloke standing up and screaming abuse at Dunn everytime he got the ball! At Ewood v Villa. His face was purple and the veins on his neck stood out like rope. Unbelievable. It went on the whole game----which we won and Dunn scored! Had the most beautiful blonde with him too. I remember thinking "what the hell does she see in him?"----a feeling I've often had by the way!!
  14. Nonsense----imo. He's had no more critical comment than any other Rover that has been utter crap. I've seen many Rovers players cop more for far less. I have never booed or jeered a Rovers player in my life by the way. However all he has to do is keep playing like he is now and he won't cop criticism from anyone, only praise. The only exception might be some of those incredible misses he specialises in! I really doubt any other fans would have been any different either.
  15. An exception was an early game at Ewood v Everton where we were 0-2 down and came back to win 3-2! But I accept what you're saying. It did look like we were going to make a real impression on the league that year but we got found out defensively. The wingers played higher up the pitch and the opposition filled the gap!
  16. How much filler in those lips?
  17. Kean against Wigan? Gross dereliction of duty if you were there!
  18. It makes you wonder if he had problems "settling in" leaving home parents and friends, new area, new workmates etc.
  19. I cringed when I read that. Brereton has received huge sympathy and encouragement over 2 seasons from the fans. Especially given his performances. If he's turning the corner now all Rovers fans are delighted. Should never have been signed though at that time of need and with that fee. But, as you say, that's nothing to do with him.
  20. A couple of 1-0 results against top sides with 11 men would do wonders for my morale!
  21. Just got this email from a mate of mine: The last time the Rovers scored more than 16 in the first seven games of a season before this year was in the 1997-98 campaign when they knocked in 18, mainly because of 7 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Chris Sutton scored 7 in the first 7 that year, a figure that Adam Armstrong has just equalled and other famous names also cracked in 7 in other previous seasons. These are Alan Shearer, Simon Garner, Andy McEvoy, Derek Dougan, Peter Dobing and Tommy Briggs but we have to go back to 1954-55 to find Eddie Quigley scoring 8 in the first 7 games. Roll on Tuesday against Reading when other notable performances may be achieved.
