It makes you wonder what was the point of Brereton at all.

The 2 teams who have conceded most goals in the last 15 minutes are Rovers and Millwall-------18 apiece! We actually levelled it in this game!

You know I don't think that way but in this instance he may be not at fault. He would be if he played him.

That's exactly what I think! A gamble. Shows we are still owned by buffoons however much we trust TM.

We reportedly turned down that sort of money for him when West Brom were chasing him so why would we accept less now?

But Brereton has all the experience! Every time I questioned the wisdom of buying an inexperienced youth for the astonishing price of 7M I was told he wasn't inexperienced at all and had played 47 games for Forest! In reality we had a more effective player all the time for free. Still the most bewildering transfer you could think of.

I believe we've won 6 of the last nine games there! You've been unlucky. We're their bogey club!

Oh God---I'd forgotten about him! He was much older than Nuttall when we got him though but I do admit he never did improve. Those one on ones with the keeper!

Didn't we look better when we had 2 central strikers on? Plus,great little cameo from Armstrong. And of course terrific contribution from Travis. More of this Mr Mowbray!

The point is, he competed! Never stopped, chased every ball, closed down defenders, won balls in the air. Offered so much more than Brereton. His main problem is that the ball doesn't stick, he couldn't trap a bag of cement as they say. But surely he can learn?

Saw plenty to believe that we should persevere with Nuttall. Raw he certainly is but on today's showing he is quick, aggressive, strong under pressure and full of running. Plenty of basic material to work with there.

How much is Nuttall worth then?

The thing is he suddenly disappeared without being any more annoying than usual from my point of view. I'd acclimatised to him in the sense that he'd always be there but I didn't feel the need to take any notice of him for the most part. You can't rely on anybody anymore!

It doesn't. Night match, mid week, on tele. All obvious reasons why the crowd will be low. And that's why they have reduced prices. People screamed for an offer like this over Christmas, when people are back home with their families and there were no offers like this then! Its not a positive move, its a negative reaction.
