  1. Bloody hell! Hate to see what he'd be like if he supported us!
  2. Bit churlish Gav?
  3. Not a majority. Good to have feedback from another source than our own. Ignore the minority and keep posting!
  4. 1 terrific season in his entire time with us. Aided by penalties too, though he took a good one tbs. This season he's mostly been below par but could do well in a higher league where there are more good players around him.
  5. We're in red card territory there aren't we? Ref couldn't claim to be unsighted!
  6. I don't think either of them are good enough but I agree there were no target players to cross to.
  7. Apparently you cannot do anything wrong if you're employed by Blackburn Rovers! We've been here before haven't we?
  8. £5M down the drain there---hard-working but hasn't the talent. He'll play out his contract I'd predict.
  9. Played well in 3 successive games against good opponents but 2 goals and 2 points tell s the tale. A decent transfer window and we'd be on our way to the play-offs already.
  10. That's what I would do. Dack surely can't start a game like this, JRC plays midfield anyway and Brittain is quite capable. Bast we can do imo. Hedges low on confidence I'd imagine and Dolan has disappointed
  11. And if, as expected, we lose, let's just accept they are a rather better team than we are right now, partly because they had so much more money to spend. I have low expectations of this game. All I ask is that we leave the pitch knackered and not surrender like we did last time we played them. That was unacceptable. Given our final 3 fixtures its unlikely we will get into the play-offs so having low expectations helps to take away much of the pain. (Another part of me thinks we are owed some luck though!)
  12. Like a certain Norwegian winger we once had!
  13. Managers can only do so much. If Hedges hadn't had an unbelievable brain fart with a few seconds to go we'd have been hailing a great victory. If Hedges had done just about anything else but what he did we would have won. Find it hard to forgive that one. Bloody clueless.
  14. It would be astonishing and utterly galling if Mowbray got his team into the play-offs at the first attempt with the youngest side in the Championship! After years of faffing about with us. Surely Sunderland are not ready, surely they need to go on a journey, surely promotion can'r be conjured up in no time?
  15. We didn't see any of it.
  16. The assumption being that when we cash in, permission will be granted to spend the money on acquiring replacements. We have no assurance of that with these owners.
  17. Came across this post from 2022! Won't divulge the poster, it was a commonly held view at the time. Point of my post is to say that a season in football is a long time and best to err on the side of caution. "JRC when fit isn't remotely in Nyambe's class imo. I'm astounded anyone thinks he is."
  18. 5 year deal through to June 2027.
  19. Well we have erratic owners but with 4 years left on his contract we would be insane to let him go this summer. He''ll play no part in any bid for promotion and we'd get the lowest fee possible.
  20. His contract goes for another 4 years. Till then we hold the cards. Best way to make a bomb from him is to get promoted and for him to star in the Premiership.
  21. Ok fair enough but I wouldn't contemplate selling him before he's fulfilled much more of his potential and we get shedloads for him. He's in contract till 2027 so no hurry. I'm realistic to know we'll lose both him and Philips at some point but if we don't get enough for both either to get promotion or stay up then what's it all for?
  22. Eh? If a Premier League club comes in for Adam we should be happy with a loan in return? If we get big money for him surely then we should be buying quality?
  23. Not to mention Luton and Millwall as well! Be a miracle if we made the 6 now.
