Fisher was in Swanseas's side last weekend. Don't know about this..
-
And---he wasn't playing well.
-
The Circumlocution Office!!
-
I said I didn't rate him when we signed him but he's been asked to play where it doesn't suit him. We buy players, then try to shovel them into a "system". If he played on the wing and focussed on his crosses and cutting in and shooting he would offer something. Instead he just looks like he doesn't really know his role. He's no use without a target men up-front and he's not on his own.
-
I would definitely include Dolan.
-
In defence the future's looking fine, if we can keep them all of course.
-
We should have known that leaving it till 10-50pm when the deadline was 11pm was asking for trouble. That said the EFL is not coming out of this very well. The problem is now time, every game that goes by makes this signing less less and less relevant to our season. A great shame.
-
Given the lack of striking power you'd wonder why we have 2 wingers in the first place. Its a squad collected without plan. A while back it was the defence that was sub-par, we hardly had any centre-backs and we were making do at full-back. Now we've remedied that but have nothing up front! Its going to be one long journey!

Wonder if O'Brien will be allowed to play the last game of the season?!!
-
It'll end in some fine they can afford and banned from the Champion's League for a year. Too big to fail and all that.
-
Who's Thomas going to cross to?!
-
The more I watch that goal the more I like it! So clever. Natural instinct would have been to just lash it but it could have been blocked. To take the defence out of it and give himself an easy roll in was just brilliant.
-
Surely there must be someone in that family with a brain? Perhaps not!
-
If Baliaj's son got really interested and connected that could be a very good thing. Grasping at straws I know!
-
tremendously big if! If we lose it'll be 2 points from 3 games, confirming our slide out of the Six. Which is more likely?
-
Sick of all these draws! Good point I didn't expect. Well done lads.
-
At the moment there's no value in a Rover ticket whatever the price. There's hardly any entertainment value at all. Its profoundly depressing.
-
Yes! Could you ever see us signing that number of players in a Transfer Window whatever the situation?
-
Ha! Point 1----this is the Watford Away topic! Its a League game! Our League form, (the relevant reference point) is terrible. Point 2---quite common for a team to go on a good Cup run when their League form is dreadful. Best example----Wigan! Beat City a few years ago in the Final while already relegated. Our recent form has not been fine!
-
We miss the deadline for signing a striker quite regularly!
-
You're bloody joking aren't you? Recent league form--LWLDD! How can relegation form be "fine"?
-
Ha! British business the yardstick then! Might as well give up now.
-
Last chance saloon this one. Lose it and away goes any remaining hope of making Top 6. I think we will lose and won't even finish top half. Our current form is relegation standard.
-
I think we often have things the wrong way round at Rovers. Instead of having a system in your head and trying to shoe-horn the players into it, why don't we pick our best players and then use a system that suits them? Ridiculous to have better players on the bench than on the field.

We should take a holistic approach to our assessment of the Club. If one bit isn't working properly, whether it be ticket sales and prom or recruitment or the medical department or whatever, then its bound to have a knock-on effect on the rest.
