Not sure why the EFL have to go trumpeting it everywhere right now unless it's a long term thing but surely promotion will square off the finances anyway. If there are some previous irregularities under investigation though it could get interesting.

So now they are under embargo which would be funny until you consider we are in between windows which is a bit pointless. 20 point deduction anyone ?

That's my thinking, all out for 3 points forget the rest until later challenge the players to play themselves into contention. -

Being portrayed as a nice honest humble working class guy (whilst earning 500k a year) can go a long way. Don't be nasty even though you might not agree with him he's a nice honest guy trying his best in bad circumstances etc etc That was Tony's own narrative that on the back of the league 1 promotion became engrained in our downtrodden moral beaten fanbase. Who else will come ? Who else can do this job like TM ? were the cries amongst other things and not just by fans but by the man himself he had people hook line and sinker ( a bit like Lineker). And like that is was mostly a load of old cobblers we've a novice in now with less to work with and he'll at least equal anything Mowbray ever did here in his first season. And it turned out old Tone just like Gary was actually a little bit of a narcissist once the veil slipped. -
MOTD. Can’t believe there are no comments.

I couldn't care less he has a duty to conduct himself in a balanced way out of his pundit seat just like any other high profile person. If he was a pop star then apart from his own industry he'd get pelters from everywhere else but because he's saint Gary the champagne socialist tax dodger it's ok ? No it isn't the guy has been treading the line between activist and influencer for a long time now and hes been warned before. One or the other Gary....oh and pay your tax bill your raging hypocrite. -

No that's the issue he's paid over a million a year by the BBC to be a football pundit yet he uses his status to push his views. Doesn't matter where he pushes it rightly or wrongly millions of the BBC viewership has opposite opinions and he's being divisive therefore it bites his paymasters on the arse. So he chooses one of the other, he isn't alone in this but a lot of others get cancelled straight away. For his 1.3 million per year he has to sign impartiality agreements we wouldn't want him being polite on MOD then slagging off Rovers on his twitter profile would we. -

Balls to the pompous Lineker i care not a jot what his view points are he should stick to what he's paid for. Otherwise toddle off and get your own politics show or join a party, as for MOTD i haven't watched it since we were in the Prem but i'm damn sure it can survive without him or the boring other old boys back slapping club. There, a comment. -

Players had clearly been told to revert to keep ball again last night and without the tiggerish pressing and defending in packs in front of them the defence were nervy. Coaches have to share the responsibility for that. -

Last night showed just why we badly needed someone like O'Brian in midfield. I hope Buckley isn't badly hurt but he was useless last night and as were Hyam and Pickering but Bucko thinks he's Tugay. Dolan again displayed why he isn't up to being a regular starter although he'd earned his spot. Why you ask someone like that to do the work of two men up and down the left when his strength is clearly pressing up top is beyond me. That should have been changed after the first 15 mins. It was blindingly obvious what was coming. Problem here is we have another gaffer who only reacts when his team is two nil down. -

They've never looked like they have the first clue what to do when we are losing that's the grim recurring theme. Never seems to be a tactical plan with the subs it's just throw on some fresh legs and hope. We had 5 years of that. -

Utter garbage. I thought this might be a game too far and we''d run out of steam at some point but theres been far too many no shows like that this season. It's part of the reason we still struggle to increase the gates this season because we have those kinds of non performances always just around the corner. It's hard for fans to truly believe we won't fall away badly at some point and it isn't down to the age or depth of the squad. It's a recurring problem where we are tactically wrong and too many players not putting a shift in from the start. I'm usually one for keeping a settled side but i was surprised he hadn't freshened it up tonight with the starting 11. We looked very leggy and no surprise really but we also made it so easy for them. Credit Stoke a strong side when in form but we didn't half play to their strengths instead of our own. -

Across to the M6 and straight down you'll struggle to find much high land it's one of the most straight forward fixtures to ever get to in this league. Traffic permitting of course which is an issue anywhere. -

I was watching highlights of an Oldham v Rovers game that popped up earlier and it was quite full of snow. I believe the game was scheduled for Ewood but the snow was bad in Blackburn so they switched it to Boundary Park because it wasn't as bad and everyone just piled over there. Imagine that now ! ( if it's true of course ) -
Yeah maybe they already have in the accounts if not in public.
