  1. I think it's time to phase him out now but rather see him fill in there than anywhere else if it was needed.
  2. He was clear in his mind a couple of days ago which sounds to me like they've possibly left a take it or leave it type offer or two out there.
  3. I think defensively he's still more solid than Bell but unless it's a crisis i'd let him concentrate on centre back now he's settling in there again.
  4. Williams won't play left back unless he's had a mass change of heart so i don't know why it keeps getting suggested. As daft as the Mulgrew for left back, Midfield etc. Not happening especially after the managers comments about Bell. Wouldn't change a think really there shouldn't be a need injuries aside after that win. Tony will need to be on the sleeping tabs this week over this one. 3-3 draw.
  5. I think the last 3 years pretty much speak for themselves on that score. I hope now it's a case of hes getting together the system and players for this type of thing consistently. However going off the past and things he's done and said, also the fact he was mulling over his formation in bed then changed his mind at the last min to something more attacking involving Rothwell shows it's likely to happen imo.
  6. Then do a stupid dance in front of their poxy home end just to rub it in like that ginger little turd did here.
  7. He came from A shit Hole and now he's scoring goals....
  8. We've seen this before though only to see them quickly reeled in again TM's natural conservative attitude will kick in again sooner or later. Prospect of Derby will no doubt have him scrabbling through a million different team selections and tactics in his head. I'd just keep trying to fan the flames of this lot and let them have a real go for now.
  9. I wouldn't pay too much attention to what Mowbray says in regards to transfers it often turns out complete twaddle. It's like he doesn't really know what's going on but with our owners and the way transfer windows work things can change by the hour. So sometimes he probably doesn't know where things are at.
  10. It wasn't a good time when the club was leaking info like a colander to be honest.
  11. Agree and disagree i think he now has the opportunity to make a big step forwards with replacing Bell. He has money and is pitching left backs but is it just because we are short rather than to upgrade ? These are the kind of things that can make a difference so if your better players have a good season they aren't being let down by the usual weak points. He's the weakest one if Mowbray bottles it in favour of back up players he'll get pelters again when it goes wrong. I pray he doesn't over think this one and convince himself we'll get by with Bell and a loaned back up. These are the differences Tony don't fluff it.
  12. The bar isn't high though and he's often responsible directly or indirectly for an opposition goal. Wasn't today so i'll take that it's a plus as far as he's concerned. Totally agree we need a proper left back i don't rate the lad at all and just hope the manager shows some more steel and gets one in. This in recent years has been a big reason why we haven't moved on as maybe we should, the old over loyalty or trying to get away with what he has when he's had opportunities to improve it. He'll rue it at some point if he doesn't strengthen that position, we all will.
  13. Bells played today, done well but it'll be one of his easiest tests this season next one won't be. Clean sheet and 5 goals means the whole team and subs and manager have done their jobs beyond expectations. Tonight is one for giving them ALL a toast before the boozers get kyboshed again. Hopefully the jerks on Bells twitter will have a night off tonight and a bit of rare praise builds hi confidence, he needs it.
  14. Long way to go yet for Dolan but just shows how crazy this league is and how every young player should get some sort of chance in it.
  15. Wonderful stuff good to see all guns blazing and looking to put a side to the sword once there were on the ropes. It'll rarely deliver that result but same attitude needs applying all season then we might take a few real steps forward. Wycombe will struggle badly this season, nobodies fault just don't think they are equipped for this league at all yet.
  16. If they only sell 3 or 4k STS anyway then they won't open all the stands. It's like the govt pretending they aren't going to lockdown again at some point. My guess is they'll put all STS in the JW stand unless the number puts a real strain in distancing measures. Then BBE lower for any single match tickets if applicable. He'll be working on the speach for that right now.
  17. Whilst iv'e long thought Suhail is more than just a messenger boy and think he might represent more than the Rao's at Ewood i'm not sure i'm swallowing it's all down the him. Swaggo has got them all going down the 'great guy' route now but look beyond that and he'll be just be another self serving suit. He's finding it hard to drive crowds up even before this impossible scenario. Prices would likely have risen anyway and like promotion i think he's just spotted the opportunity to bump then now. Squeeze what you have whilst you can, remit should be get as many back however you can. Less isn't more in Blackburn.
  18. That's what has happened since they walked through the door they've reduced the whole product to less than half what it was. Hand in hand they've reduced the income that was already there and guaranteed to something around probably a quarter of what it was. Then added to it with their own and their advisory friends antics. I think some need regular reminders of this when the little choruses of blame the fans and 'the owners are doing their bit' start up. It's all at their door so the mess they've made needs heavily subsidizing and unfortunately that includes the fanbase in this area.
  19. Kind of like exerting his control by the sounds of but i suppose he's feck all else to do to justify his position. I bet he passes off all the good suggestions as his own to his boss Barry then blames all the cock ups of the rest of them. Double agent.
  20. Likes of Gallagher would benefit no end from that.
  21. A completely cherry picked example there but you are another who only ever pops up with this kind of stuff purposely missing the point. That Fulham game was one game so no it wasn't normally cheaper at Hyde than Ewood apart from that one game. Nice generalization ! Hyde charging that knowing that only a couple of hundred hardcore will pay it and it's their core income by loyal fans so they aren't being fleeced. How would they react if it was hiked up beyond what is deemed acceptable by most ? Comparisons to non league are complete nonsense to be honest.
  22. Who says he isn't ? A few do a good impression of being him ?
  23. He's been very well looked after here and very fortunate imo as at times in the past its looked like BRFC just managed him for international duty. Under Mowbray though hes given us some payback in spells so it's possible his little routine was sussed by a more experienced manager. Besides i'm sure a boss in the past maybe Bowyer said Evans has a problem that needs careful managing or it would mean big surgery and lay off.
