  1. The facts are unarguable. We have lost a lot of matches. FACT Someone has to be at fault. FACT Whose fault is it? If it's the players, who bought them? If it's the coaching staff, who hired them? Players in wrong positions, who put them there? Playing a passing game with players who can't pass or cross, who made that choice? I could go on but what's the point. The buck has to stop somewhere and the 'where' is obvious. To finish the season the way we have and for him not to take total and full responsibility is incomprehensible. TM you're at fault here. It cannot be argued otherwise. If TM is here next season then nothing changes and that's desperate, what a prospect, haven't the fans suffered enough over the last decade? I'm a fanatic, I can't be otherwise. I'll be there next season. I'll support the club until there's no breath left in my body. But what a depressing prospect. This isn't what I signed up for when my dad took me to see Dougie and Clayton. Curse you dad for getting me hooked, curse you TM for what you're turning the club into, lower table cannon fodder.
  2. Rubbish finishing across the team. Pathetic.
  3. Rotherham defenders holding hands against our free kick to form a chain --- is that legal??
  4. I voted "Yes - no matter what" because if you don't turn up you don't deserve to have a say. I like to have my say on here and elsewhere. Mowbray, Waggott and the Venky's out. I'll be there shouting it out and letting them know my feelings. I can't do that sitting at home and moaning from a distance. That's just the way I see things. I love the Rovers, end of. I'll always be there.
  5. It's just too slow. We hold the ball until we're closed down then pass it backwards! WTF Mowbray.
  6. Does no one every turn with ball? All this passing the way you're facing is doing my head in.
  7. Possession based football with our players, it's like asking elephants to tap dance. Wrong strategy, you'd think he'd learn. Almost as if he's doing it on purpose.
  8. Well when you look at what we put on the pitch each week it should be in good condition.
  9. Well who'd have thought it, a number 9 scoring a number 9 style goal. Would all be so perfect if only he was playing at number 9.
  10. It's the same as I said in the last match, Where's the mid field? That's supposed to be the engine room!! Looks like hamster's got a rupture and the wheel's got stuck.
  11. So xG is a measure of failure? The higher the score the worse you did? Cool. No hiding place then. We're shit and we know how to measure it to prove it.
  12. oops, just posted this on the Summer Transfer Window thread by mistake --- Just seen the horrible news of next wave Covid hitting India today. Horrific nunbers of infections. Patients laying on floors dying. Worst hit area is Pune. Doubt Venkys will have time to consider anything right now let alone Mowbrays replacement. I think we're stuck with him until next season.

  14. Considering our books are chocked full of midfielders we don't have a midfield. Forwards and backs, thats all I can see. WTF?
  15. Oldest form of madness in the world, keep doing the same things and expecting a different result. Mowbray et al have to go, nothing will change if he stays. Player contracts signed or not signed, irrelevant. New players in, irrelevant. Players leaving, irrelevant. Nothing will change just more speak about 'projects' and 'journeys', 'building a team', 'refreshing the infrastructure' etc etc etc, all bollocks. Nothing will change as long as Mowbray stays, guaranteed. Constant lower half of the table with promises of better to come, no thanks. WE NEED A CHANGE AND WE NEED IT NOW! New blood top to bottom, give the new guy total control over transfer policy, give the new guy these last few games of the season to get an understanding of where we're at, give the new guy a whole preseason AND A BUDGET, then I'll feel good again about being a Rovers supporter. If this doesn't happen then what's the point. Answer --- NONE!
  16. But then it all starts over again and there'll be no change so we'll be back in purgatory.
  17. I'm old fashioned. Biased towards big guy, short guy up top. Think Toshack/Keegan, Tore Andre Flo/Zola. We have an Armstrong, we have a Dolan. We have a Gallagher and we have a Brereton. Obviously not in the same quality league but surely TM should be trying out that formation. Am I missing something or is TM a moron?
  18. The players have all tried, losing this isn't through their lack of effort (and I don't often say that this season). The problem is awful team selection, setup and tactics. That's all down to TM. This just isn't working. Time for him to go has way past.
  19. Top quality goal, hands up for that one. Typical of our season.
  20. Lowe was a hate figure, Andrews was a hate figure, just don't think it's fair to lump Brereton in with them. He's done OK this match for me. In general he's done well this season. Injury stalled his progress, not his fault. He's a trier, the price tag and expectations aren't his fault
  21. Man oh man, just signed in and surprised at some of the negativity and moaning. It's been a good performance from us, Norwich haven't been bad, we've been good. Brereton has done nothing wrong at all yet he's getting an earful from some. Don't get it. I'm the first to scream and shout when we're awful but be fair that was a good first half.
  22. Ewood. The bog of eternal stench. Do we really have to have this served up every match. Time for a change.
  23. City are sucking the life out of the game. We've no ideas.
  24. Plenty of Labore, a bit more Arte please.
  25. Well it's another day and I still feel sick. What's Dack done to deserve this, absolutely tragic and totally gutted for the lad. Have a speedy recovery son. About the match, reading the comments on hear I think most see it in the same way. We were cheated yet again. Week in week out it's the same. Cast your mind back over the last few weeks, how many penalties haven't been given for us and how many soft decisions have gone the other way. Refereeing standards are just shocking aren't they. Before you jump all over me let me first say that I think TM should go but he's got a dog's luck this season. Travis, Dack being examples in just this one match. To be honest the team he put out there was one I would have started with EXCEPT Mowbray completely messed up again. Players playing in the wrong positions following the wrong strategy. For me : - wingers on the wing - full backs staying in defensive positions - drill a back 4 to be a unit and move as one a la George Graham's defenders on a rope ethos (4 guys holding on to the same rope and moving in lock step left and right) - play a 9 in the CF position - we need to move the ball quicker (actually a LOT quicker) - we have good players but not in every position, doesn't make sense to keep doggedly force fitting everyone into a system that ignores the player's capabilities. I could go on but I'm not saying anything here that you don't already know. Last night we were cheated yet again. Dack's injury was a sickner. We were setup wrong. Pitch is a disgrace. It's hard to be a Rovers supporter right now but I am and always will be. One day this nightmare will be behind us. TM, time to go. Venky's, time to go. Shitty luck, time to go!
