  1. None of the four you mentioned on your first line are good enough for the Rovers first team. I would rate Pratt above both Atcheson and Gamble, unfortunately Pratt is injured, he is also more of an old-fashioned center-half, rather than a ball playing one. I don't know if Pratt would fall into JDTs playing out from the back system.
  2. If Ennis isn't up to the standard JDT requires, then he should be playing for the reserves. Our shortages in that department should not come into that decission making.
  3. I my opinion, PSV looked far better than the Rovers. I thought Batty looked lost in midfield. Battys main asset is his speed, so he was played in a position were that asset is of the least use. The number of misplaced passes throughout the entire side was not acceptable. What the fuck are the short corners about. Usually the odd corner is played short to catch the defenders of guard, or to draw two defenders out of the box. With doing the same short routine every time. PSV did not even send out two players, to stop the two V one situation, as they knew what was going to happen. Marking at the back was slack to say the least.
  4. Fair result in the end 3-5.
  5. Because the 8500 they sold in the summer, hit his money target.
  6. The defender in front of him just flicked out a leg to the side. no real attempt to stop the shot. That gave the keeper no chance.
  7. The young lad up front just turned his marker again, it's a pity he doesn't seem very fast.
  8. I don't know how we are still in this game
  9. This may or may-not be true, but in my opinion over-priced season ticket sales is keeping Waggot in a job.
  10. My problem is not with Ennis, but with, why is he not being given the chance to play.
  11. The young lad up front seems to be limping coming off at half-time.
  12. So is poor defending 2-2
  13. Batty looks heavy and out of position.
  14. The person furthest away from the standards the Rovers require is, Waggot.
  15. My brother got our tickets, but because of the postponements, he couldn't make the game, so my mother took me.
  16. Yeah, but that was in a time before you got points for possession. Oh wait a minute...........
  17. I don't want to see him linked with us. Once bitten and all that.
  18. The amount of youngsters in the first team squad is down to being able to name 9 subs. I think what is more relevent are the player we have let leave the club. A lot of those players were the ones that put in the hard graft because they weren't quite good enough.
  19. because last season you had to get a certain amount of points not to be relegated. Our lack of skill throughout the U23s could be made up for, with shear graft, to gain those points. This season that doesn't matter, so it is a human traite not to put the same effort in.
  20. The way I look at it is, they are losing more games because there is not much to play for. This may or may not be true, it is just what I think.
  21. That was what used to be known as being a winner.
  22. Is Benson the set piece coach ? If not who is ?
  23. On average our players are not performing to a level I would call acceptable, and yes that is in part down to a manager that insists on playing certain tactics that are not working. Two examples are, constant short balls from our keeper, and short corners. You say, look at the bench last night as a excuse. I still remember two subs being the allocation, that would remove that excuse.
  24. The travelling might have been an excuse if they were travelling in the back of a van. But not in air conditioned luxury. I understand that it is more a pop at Swagg, but just do your job to the best of your ability, I am sick of the excuses.
  25. JDT seems to be a perfectionist rather than a winner. A bit like Keegans Newcastle, great to watch but win sod all.
