I think that was more along the lines of, sarcasm.

To compound the confussion, the keeper took the free-kick from the edge of the six yard box.

I hope he is going to Cardiff.

v Cardiff (a) - 15/1/22 - 12.30pm kick off

If we are planning for promotion, a draw at Cardiff is not a result to be happy with. -
What I couldn't understand was giving Chapman a contract extension, but then loaning him out. I don't see how that was a benefit to the Rovers.

Was it not the defender who ran into the attacker. Or as I saw it the attacker who was coming back from an off-side position deliberately blocked a defender from getting back into a defensive position. It happens a lot at practiced set pieces.

From what I have seen of Eastham for the U23s, he is average at best. A good shot stopper with good distribution. But again, as it seems with most of our keepers, poor decision making and does not control the box. I have never been a believer in, if other people have done it, then it is the best thing to do. But even by your examples, Eastham is two inches shorter than Given. -

I would say Eastham is too short. I have not seen enough of Hilton or the Greek lad to make a decission. -

He made more than the three mistakes. There was also a missed punch when Wigan hit the bar. -

He seems to have dropped off the radar. -

The thing is, that second goal won't even make a bloopers tape, as it wasn't even funny, it was just unbelievable. -

I don't get the relevence of being tried in the English leagues 1 and 2. Before that he was loaned out to four lesser clubs in the Scottish league. I don't see how that makes him a better prospect than Hedges ? -

Go on, give us a clue. What is that meant to mean, in relation to my comment about Pears ? -

I have seen Don Martin and Ritchie Smallwood make a better fist of being in goal. -
Bruce McBride ?

I think the managment have come to the opinion, that due to his injury record JRC is now, not competition for Nyambe. On yesterdays performance Edun has to improve his passing if he is to be competition for the left wing-back position. In my opinion Dolan would be ideal as the right, wide forward, with a right-wing back. -

Your description fits Sam Burns exactly, just remove West Ham and insert The Rovers -

People are mentioning Zeefuik as either, back-up or replacement for Nyambe. I would prefer if he was looked at, as competition for the starting place. -

You say Pears's problems are not a lack of ability. I would say, decision making and command of the box are two fundamental abilities of a good keeper. Sat on a bench, is probably his best position. -
Perhaps we could loan them Pears.

It's at Leyland

He was solid in the first half today, but that was mainly due to the fact he had nothing to do -

That has to be the worst goal keeping performance I have ever seen. At least any misconception the Pears might be any sort of keeper have been put to bed.
